What size is this? The jumps are fairly high. I have a Blade 3 4.9 and Sabre 11.5, But looking for something with a bit more grunt. Like a Blade 4 6.5, in nice strong winds.

This is amazing! I have a 3.5 and that thing picked me up and put me in a oak tree, was in the center of the window and a big ass gust came. If i had a 6m god knows what would have happend lol. adrenalin rocks!

@brodie9909 talk to your local kite store, if you want to do big jumps you need to spend the money, would you skydive with a cheap chute?

check out the peterlynn twister/ hornet for cheaper models

or flexifoil blade for top models, look around 3.5-4m and fly in light winds first so you dont kill yourself

stick around the 5m, the vbest buy far has got to be the flexifoil blades, try get a 4.9 blade 4 2nd hand you wont be disappointed.

You can learn it on your own, but first you need several hours of training at low wind, to start jumping at all without hurting yourself.

hey yeah the blades are super lifty, and it was a very windy day there were 12 people on the beach and 2 of us who flew the kites :D, everyone else was too scared lol

@teenflight I know, they're epic! but i did find something kinda annoying to me... if ur only 6 stone then you get dragged around a lot by them! If i bring it down the window to about 10 O' clock I get pulled about 10m! and this is without moving it... they are amzingly powerful for their size!

hey man the best bet is to talk to the guys at ur local shop they can ize u up within 5 mins, i would say a 4m would be fine as long as you take i easy, And when i say that i really mean it make sure u look at how the wind works and fly in winds from 5-12mph when starting so you can learn your kite inside out, were safetys when learning aswell, the only reason you dont see me using them is i have other people grabing the kites after i jump, hope this helps

Ive got the older blade II 4m and Brighton beach is an AWESOME place to fly it. Sadly ive moved away and have yet to find anywhere that can compare to Sussex stones of rlanding on. Its amazing.

Not really but I learn quick. I dirt bike race & jump, wakeboard, surf, tube, I get a bit on the edge most of the time. I like to do things that are a bit risky

kk man you want to go for something around the 4m2 size and take it easy. if you go bigger u won't jump as high. the deal is bigg wind smaller kite. I wouldnt really trust any other kite to do jumps of that height with other than the blades, i have flown a pansh and if u go for one i recomend getting a decent set of lines and handles for them

Its obviously not a blade. Its also definately not a Beamer, how in earth did it look like a beamer? First of all, it was on a depower bar. You cant get a beamer on a depower bar, secondly it was a completely different color scheme to any beamer available. It was an LEI. My guess is that it was made by Cabrinha

theres a good tutorial on the flexifoil dot com forums in the newbie section. read it.

the theory is (put simply) get the kite high, start going one way across the window, run the other way like the clappers (and backwards) and when you feel it pulling hard PULL hard to turn the kite around and up and jump at the same time - but KEEP pulling to redirect (this floats you down) or you get dumped.
