@adam985185 yeah I didn't have the hotel mario footage infront of me when we filmed so I just couldn't do luigi's voice right and had to rely on mr x's instructions. Unlike today where I have a smart phone capable of streaming videos. So there's actually two points where my voice was dubbed over by mr x. My "over there" just didn't cut it in this and in the zelda video :p

The extreme low quality of this movie works eerily well. It's less of a Mario video and more of a fever dream, which is pretty much what CDi was: a half-assed, cheap console which shouldn't have existed. The CDi had a stable of really bizarre games like The Flowers of Robert Mapplethorpe and the Nintendo-licensed Mario and Zelda games are so bad that the CDi goes from "another bad console" to "am I having a pizza dream?" The dialogue sounds like Dadaist poetry: "ALL TOASTERS TOAST TOAST!"

@StupidJedi the picture is rubbish, the music is all over the place, the acting of luigi is god awful often with some dialog being dubbed by mario , the plot makes little sense, some shots are so bad you can't see what's going on, the costumes are wrong, luigi is smaller then mario, the shots are not exact match to the original, the princess is a doll, mario's nose is red, mario's t-shirt has a logo in one shot and luigi's in several, this is very sad, etc and u only commented on the audio :P
