This is absolutely offensive.. I'm an Editorial Stylist, hair styling is my passion and this is the worst example of "feathering" probably in the history of hairstyling..This so called "hair stylist" should never pick up another pair of curlers in her life. How in the hell are you going feather curly/wavey hair? The was the worst hair type to demonstrate it on.. I can't believe they would even post this.This woman is a f*cking idiot. OMG your NOT supposed to use a curling iron for 80's,90's feathered hair, if you were in the 80's or 90's ( and if you have common sense ) you would know that to get the feathered look you use a BLOW DRYER and a CURL BRUSH, DUH!!!

hm. Having bangs helps. But I wouldn't use that large of a barrel, either. You should part your hair down the center, curl your hair in sections so that they're tight. And make sure you curl the tails, too- perfect curls were what my mom and her sister slaved over back in the early 80's. after that, you spray some hair spray and let it set a few min and do your make up. Then you brush your hair back, and lift up your hair while spraying hair spray for more volume. there you go- feathered hair

The area where she was curling had to be cut shorter to achieve that true Farrah feathered look. This woman's hair was too long to curl properly, if you noticed, it dropped down and was like a loose pipe curl. But it was fun to watch anyway. :)

actually to get the feather look you need a round brush with bristles and you blowdry your hair around the brush and you wave it out from your face and you need layers around the face
