We got lots fighting game companies like Namco, Capcom, NetherRealm Studios etc. Each has it's own engine and it depends if both Marvel and DC will want to work together if they want this as well. They want to find which company would make the game. But I don't know if any of these companies would work on this because none of their characters would be involved. But that would depend on how much Marvel and DC would pay them to make that.

If anything was shit, it was MVC2 since it actually had clone characters. Not just the shotoclones, but a separate slot for Wolverine with bone claws, not to mention most of the cast consisted of Street Fighters and X-Men rather than representing multiple franchise and the fact that most of the cast gameplay wise was obsolete with 8 characters being broken

@vernardothunk All MVC2 basically was was a sprite dump with only 8 new characters in it. None of the returning characters were tweaked in anyway to provide for a more balanced challenge. It's basically MUGEN with a budget

MVC3/UMVC3 on the other hand, not only tweaks all of the returning characters but it actually discourages clone characters in favor of unique playstyles and actually represents multiple franchises using characters whom are either old school or currently popular and relevant

Your problem is calling "broken" even though you've never even touched these characters before.
