GP4 1991 MOD - Interlagos race

This game totally pwns my race. Nothing like zooming down the backstretch at a track only to see someone pulled over in the gravel with their car on fire and black smoke coming from the engine.

I remember the first time I seen this in GP2 - it was at Suzuka. I almost shit my pants when I seen it because I could see the smoke rising to the air from a distance.

Wow, that was a hard fight! You did that very well! Good video! And, yeah: Unlucky Nigel, I regret a little bit that there are in younger games not such failures. Although I never have played GP4.

I don't care how old GP4 is(it's 6 years old now), it still imo has the best A.I in terms of blocking the racing line when being overtaken, a.i mistakes and retirements, than ANY Game I've played before or since.

I really like rFactor as well, but I love GP4.

F1C is better - there is not 22 car limitation, point system can be changed, driving with keyboard is OK, not on the rails like in GP4.

AI is a little bit worse than in GP4, but pluses are more than minuses.

Man, I don't know why, but why did the Lotus always start brilliant, and in the first few laps, why did it drive like a Williams?

Well, GP4 is not as real as that. Back in '91 Lotus had already lost their place in the high end of the grid and was starting to struggle real hard. A way to raise money was to make the car as quick as they could, even if that meant a break down in a few laps.

wow, i've never seen this car mod or these overlays. i love gp4, even though rfactor etc are more complex, gp4 allowed you the raison d'etre of F1 - to battle with your competitors and gain a tenth here or there. i notice that you don't wipe your visor, you like a build up of dirt before wiping, more realistic! ;)

manual gears, no TC and driving with the keyboards! that's how I could force my way through the field, controlling some massive oversteer and excessive wheelspins! you got me online, that rarely happens, that's why you got a fast answer! by the way, there are some videos of me playing guitar too, and the seiya/scorpions video is one of them!

Thanks! That was Ace level and I was probably using a default car setup; that's the reason why I was so slow on straights and could open a gap and brake later on other sections: huge downforce on that setup!

Thanks! I actually thought I couldn't stand a chance any longer than that, and every time I had to brake later than before I could see the car going off track... fortunately that didn't happen and I could finish ahead =)
