@behindtheskin eating does not mean cruelty, otherwise you need to be going around to every bear, lion and snake telling them that they shouldnt be eating their food because its from another living being, I mean, cats and dogs eat meat for fuck sake would you picket any of their homes because they eat meat. also, with rights and liberation comes responsibility, do you think that the newly liberated animals are going to be released and then everything is good? put a snake and a mongoose together

vegan since 1991 and proud! Earth Crisis and Y.O.T and esp. this song from the Biscuits had a big influence on that!, so a really big thank u guys (CIV etc.), u changed my life for the better!

I am 38 now, going to the gym 5-6 days a week for 15 years now, often wearing my favourite T-shirt with "Powered by Tofu" on the back. People are often amazed, that i can be this big, strong and vegan.

i often say: so what? the biggest and strongest animals are vegan: Hippos, elephants, Rhinos etc. :)

Not knocking your dedication or the cause of animal rights, I myself and a vegetarian, but those animals are "vegan" because they lack the physiological ability to digest animal products. There are too many good arguments for fighting for the rights of animals to make flawed arguments. Other than that stay strong in the struggle mate, no hate here.

If you truly respect animals you should go vegan. Vegetarianism isn't enough and still contributes to the exploitation and death of animals. Check out boston vegan association for some decent arguments as to why you need to go vegan!

Was soll man denn sonst essen ? Fleisch gibt Kraft und Energie. OK Massentierhaltung ist Mist, aber was denkt Ihr denn wenn nüscht zu fressen da ist werden auch Katzen und Hunde verschnabuliert. Da gibts dann nur noch : Sein oder nicht sein. Auch Pferde und andere Säuger die "domestiziert" sind werden und wurden in Magelzeiten gegessen.

@lpfan92 Ich esse nicht nur Fleisch, aber auch. Wie bereits gesagt, das dahinter eine Produktion steckt ist mehr als Kritikwürdig! Aber wie du sicher selber weist, hat sich die Gattung Homo  dadurch weiter entwickelt auch Fleisch zu essen. An diesen Kreationismus quatsch glaubt doch wohl niemand mehr. Unser Körper ist dafür gemacht. Pflanzen sind im übrigen auch Lebewesen.
