This reminds me of "The Bigger Dick Foreign Policy Theory", as George Carlin opined: "Their dicks are bigger than ours? Bomb them!" Chen is dropping bombs like crazy because when it comes to playing guitar, Paul has a huge dick, and here Chen looks like one. Looks like Chen Li was trying to show Paul up in this video but PG wasn't biting (at least in the beginning)...either way, pretty awesome jam. As for PG's musicality and phrasing, gotta give him props for trying and doing pretty damn well. He may fall short of Satriani and Johnson but up until maybe the last decade it wasn't his schtick, and I'd say he's doing a fine job of learning.

I agree with you though Chen is a great player no doubt...Pauls has much tastier phrasing...the problem with Paul is that he has great phrasing for shredders...but comparing him to more melodic players (Satriani, Johnson) he falls short big time.
