@Charybdis3 Ok well I have updated and while i can not report on crashing yet I can definitly see a big difference in how the app reacts on my iphone 4. It is much faster and I hope this solves the problem because the app is nice

I do have a question or concern though. B4 I updated the app I was layng on the couch and i had the lock orientation ON.Do I have to uninstall it to turn it off? Also would be a great feature to add to the app even if its just an activator action that locks/unlock it

u roooocccckkk man!!!! i was missing kirikae in ios4 so much, u made it possible to give me a GOOD WORKING backgrounder with GOOD UI again! :))

and a good tip is: set the main settings to no backgrounder and only add those applications you want to go to background immedeatly. this way you save RAM and can work nicely on iPhone and iPad!

I am a PROFESSIONAL ADULT (57 years old!) and jailbreaking my iphone 4 has been great. I can not tether for free, use FaceTime without having to be connected to WiFi and the boring Apple theme is now fully configurable. As for the Apple Warranty, well, I can always go back to 4.01 standard and my phone will work just fine. Remember, it all software, easy to upgrade, easy to change, easy to reinstall.

@dragngt Umm on 4.0.1 jailbreaking takes like 45 seconds and as long as you backup your device beforehand then you don't have anything to worry about. Jailbreaking itself isn't really that risky. It's sometimes bad packages from cydia or rock that can make your phone appear "broken". And i quote that because most issues people have can be resolved with some ssh knowledge. Just my 2 cents.

@dragngt Unfortunately, Apple has an complete monopoly on their devices and tries to scare the user away from actually doing what they want with their products. Thankfully, due to loopholes found in Apple's software, it's possible to circumvent this restriction and install 3rd party app stores. This allows you to install applications like Multfil0w. Jailbreaking is completely safe, and will not brick your device. You can always just plug in to iTunes and restore to a factory state.

@Charybdis3 Thank you. I appreciate Apple's so called monopoly on their devices and it's why I continue to support them, even though I don't agree with every rule. I have had poor experience with my JB 3G. I would be at the hospital and the phone would ask me to re-sync with iTunes. That simply wouldn't do. Now that I have my i4 I JB my 3G again. So far it doesn't screw up like the last JB I did. I can only convince myself to buy JB apps if there's a guaranteed JB for every software update.

@dragngt Honesty there are tons of apps in the app store that have not been updated in years. Totally incompatible with ios4. and tons that semi work but have no multitasking. If apple can't guarantee software updates for every app, then cydia cant either. Bottom line is you can get some awesome apps from cydia that you will use everyday!!!!

@zerocool5878 Thanks, I'll continue to use my JB 3G as a tester. I found out how to move JB apps to iTunes for syncing. Not as straight forward as I'm used to with OS X but it's not difficult. I'll keep playing around for right now. The gestures for Multifl0w works just like it does on my MacBook Air... I really like it.

@dragngt You can use appsync for that. I have not bought multifl0w yet. I am waiting to see what proswitcher looks and runs like once chpwn releases it. Just b/c proswitcher is free. If Multifl0w still looks better to me I will buy it then :P

@john9ervanden I still haven't JB my i4 and it works perfect. It does everything I could need it to. I read the JB forum on Macrumors to see what's out there. And from what I see, JB seems to be mostly for customization. There are a few functionality upgrades but not enough for me to go back to a JB phone. Yes, I have JB one of my other iPhones and was not happy with my experience AT ALL. Cydia is a half ass ad ridden store.

If you look on the main first page it contains none at all, only when digging under the sub pages might you find a ad or two. Most of the ads you experience when using Cydia are actually from the repositories (Modmyi, BigBoss, ZodTTD, etc) that you are browsing. They are the ones that bare that heavy lifting from all the application downloads.

Crashes if I open more than 9 apps. Doesn't have an easy iPod/Pandora/etc media bar like iOS multitasking bar and doesn't let you access a rotation toggle. If all of this is fixed, then it's definitely worth changing!
