If there is one redeeming quality that the CGI series has, it is the music. All the music from season 1-season 15 is really catchy and I constantly found myself humming these during my midterms and finals.

season 2 was the best, that was the one i grew up with mostly and introduced my 2 favourite characters Donald and Douglas.

Season 2 was the best. It was unique to the other seasons. The environments were more open and spacious. It just had a magic about it.

My list is rather different. I loved series 1 it was the series I personally grew up with so this is my list.

1 - Series 1

2 - Series 3

3 - Series 4

4 - Series 5

5 - Series 2

I loved those first 5! Who didn't? I think CGI just ruins the image of Thomas to be honest. But then again it is a children's show. I am no longer a child and would love to think what a 5 year old thinks of the CGI series. I think they are great for the kids but the latest series just didn't satisfy me.

@Mightymac10 Couldn't disagree more as far as the CGI is concerned. It looks fantastic and it's just what the series needed. After seeing the models for their 24 year lifespan I was quite aware that I was seeing models going along. The CGI makes the engines look even more real and it brings more of a life into the series the models never could. The only thing I hate about it are the plots as the writers know nothing about railways.

@ThomasPercyandToby2 Everybody has their opinions. But I must say the one thing I love about the CGI is the effects that you wouldn't be able to get with real life models (The blinking, The moving lips, The wider variety of scenery). CGI has its benefits I must say. I guess in a way the engines do look more realistic. Season 12 was by far my most favorite season since Series 5. I loved seeing all my old fave's return. Yes you are right the plots are what is disgracing Thomas. The plots are shit!

@OptimusPrime289 It was a bit dark. A lot of the crashes were pretty graphic (I know it's for kids, but they could be scared by that :P), most of the episodes took place at times and there were a few explosions and fires

That 'Season 15' joke scared the shit out of me. If it had won, I would've lost what little faith I had in the Thomas fan community. My personal favourite seasons are 3, 4 and 5. Of the new seasons, my favourites are surprisingly seasons 11 and 8.

To be completely honest I find season 2 a little overrated. The episode quality was consistent, but I didn't find it as enjoyable as the next three seasons.

Series 2 ain't overrated at all. Series 2 had no complaints from anyone when it aired. Henry's Forest was criticised by the great Reverend himself, and as the series progressed (even when they adapted from the RWS), they only loosely adapted from the RWS

@ThomasPercyandToby2 As a kid, and to this day, I always enjoyed season 2, but not on the level that I enjoyed the next three. It may have something to do with the fact that I've seen season 2 so many times in comparison to the others as it was the first Thomas DVD I ever owned. The episodes were all very good, but none of them stuck out to me as my favourite episodes. Same goes for the characters, I'm one of the few people who isn't a massive fan of Duck.

And while Series 2 has been so many times you get bored of it, some characters really have their defining moments in it, like Edward and Percy. I mean, even Donald and Douglas made their impact in the few episodes they were in, as did Bill and Ben, in my opinion.

@ThomasPercyandToby2 Well in my opinion the reason series 6 didn't get any vote's was due too the amount of accident's. I must admit accident's are cool but one in nearly every episode is not so cool lol. As for series 7 it should of been in the top 5 because I found it quite enjoyable. Moving on to series 8 episode's like Spic and spam which where 100% boring was what put me of aswell as Emily being constantly shoved down our throat's. Now series 13 was as bad if not worse than series 15.

@TheUnluckyTug02 I agree with that. Any season from seasons 6-15 should have got recognition. I enjoy seasons 1-5 very much but I also pay just as much attention to seasons 6-15. Actually, I've seen seasons 1-5 so much that I can still watch those again and again but not as much anymore as in constantly. The reason is because I enjoy seasons past season 5 and especially season 7. I gotta give Hit some respect for their episodes produced and I give them just as much respect as the old years.

@DannerBoone Well, Season 12 was obviously the best HiT season, not counting Season 7. After 12, it goes 2, 3, 8, 14, 11, 1, 10, 13, and 9 for me. Season 9 was my least favorite, it was just so boring. And after watching Season 1 so many times, I'm beginning find it pretty boring too. I like the music from Seasons 4-6, so I prefer watching those episodes over anything else.

I knew that season 2 would be the best =), it had the best music and the best stories of all the Thomas seasons, also the small trilogies were a nice touch =)
