it's just a stupid video filter that someone put over footage of a naked person and crinkled a plastic bag :(

Hey, my name is Jesse La Flair, I am the artist and performer in this piece. This video is a result 3 separate actions,

1. I recorded myself laying naked and trying to get comfortable in a bed of about 7,000 syringes.

2. I then projected that video on top of that same bed of needles.

3. I Then recored that projection as it played.

The sound was not a plastic bag, it was in fact the actual sound of me moving in the original 1st recording.
