i understand your point, so i ask you to remember that not everyone in the audience knows your background and views. the comments and jokes that you intended to be inclusive to your friends polarized others in the crowd.

we no longer felt welcome to participate in the evening, so we closed our tab and left.

@janusjackson Sorry to hear u no longer felt comfortable, & thx for the reminder. That said, it doesnt matter what, when, where i say things; some people will take offense. A girl last night was offended that on her bday i guessed she was 24 & she's only 21. My bad. So, as long as I know that i am honest, respectfulful & keep my integrity in my mind; Im good. i cannot control what anyone else thinks. We hope to see u again, but if youre offended easily, our shows may not be for you...

hey..enjoyed your show last night 5/22/11. it was fun, good spirited, and we were ready to bring a big group to come sing karaoke next sunday until you had to mock the gay pride celebration in long beach.

you lost a potentially good and fun crowd.

that's a shame.

@janusjackson If you knew us more, u would understand we were not mocking the celebration or referring to it in any poor manner. It was an act of "inclusion" to our gay friends who were at our show. I caution u to PLEASE not publically write something that makes negatives connotations towards people whose background & views you are not aware of. That IS a shame... (I will leave your comment up as a reminder to others to not judge so quickly, and ask you next time to say something in person.)
