Technicailty Police: Oops!..., Who let the Dogs out, She Bangs, Una Noche, It's Gonna Be Me, were all definitely 2000, but still holdovers in theme of the whole late 90's pop scene I agree.
guys, help me out. am trying to find a song from the nineties, early nineties probably. wasn't anybody famous but was on MTV for a while. the music video was shot in sepia. the song had a very funk saxophone main tune and featured the chorus from "peace, unity, love and having fun" (the Africa Bambaataa song). i also remember some shots of a dancing couple, with the girl wearing ballerina clothes. can't provide more info. can sing the sax tune but no use for that here... HELP!!
awww i loved it!!! its funny to see who still around and whose not. like BSB is still around, Britney and Hanson im 24 and i am still a huge fan of them. OHH and Ricky Martin is still around kinda and of course Christina Aguilera. Pretty neat :)
This is VERY VERY good, kids nowadays just don't know music... Kesha? Lady Gaga? who else? All of them sing perhaps ONE good song and the rest is trash. Here we got NSync, BSB, Old Britney, S Club 7 and more, with some truely EPIC tunes. You should have put in something like Keep On Moving by 5ive too, and One Love by Blue. Spice Girls came in nicely though. No kid nowadays (under 13 anyway) will recognise more than 20% of the songs. It's all rap and crap now...
Excellent work ChelsMeister11! These are all the biggest hit songs when I was growing up and you captured the (late) 1990s in music perfectly! This is true music to me, not as much Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and all the other techno/alternative music of the late 2000s (though I do like a few of their songs, I'll admit). Throw in a few early 90s hits like U Can't Touch This, Whoomp There it Is, and a soft rock ballad or 2 and you'll have the most epic 90s compilation known to man! :)
Aww, this totally brought me back to late middle school/early high school. I was the Hanson fan, my friend Alex loved NSync, and another friend was crazy about BSB. Those were the days.. lol
I know :( We were trying to make it appeal to a group of high school juniors, and we weren't old enough to appreciate bands like Nirvana at our age. I'm not very high tech, so it blended best if I included the same style of music throughout.
@bwu3. Same here. I use to talk alot of shit about these boybands, but now, i miss them : (

I remembered that in the 90s i thought how all these boy bands were horrible but looking back, they are not nearly half as bad as the music today

This video should be titled "LATE" 90's video mashup...there was no early 90's videos. Majority was bubblegum pop and boy bands.
