@956Joeboy It works with an ISO image and with a CD in the tray, so if you have a CD of it, it should work. Althought I do suggest instead of VMware to use Virtual Box provided for free by Oracle

People, if you want an alternative solution for VMware (Because it is quite expensive) google for "Oracle VirtualBox". It works on windows and linux, and is open source and free and its great for virtualization.

Alternativly, you could just visit virtualbox . org and download it from there.

That is true, It is like 2 seperate PC's on your network

If you mean can use install vista on the virutal machine yes, you can do linux to. If you mean does vmware work on vista yes it does becuase i was using vista when i filmed it

Workstation has more features. Virtual PC is very basic and doesn't have that many good things on it.
