Actually a 800m target is still in area target range (550m point target) seeing how the max range on m16a2 is 3600meters. At 800m you'll hit the target... just have to try harder. Learn your facts before making comments.

um no actually your far from correct either your one heck of a liar or the foreign legion really doesnt live up to its name. 1st off those are m4's not m16's just look at the handguards and barrel length wich is under the standard 6 inch barrel of an m16. At 800m even if they cant make visual confirmation on their target they can lay down somewhat effective area fire at app 800m which is the area target distance allowable for a 5.56mm round in this style weapon.

um no, how bout you check your manufacturer spec's its 6 inches matched the same as the charging handle. Both the charging handle and the barrel are 6 inches in length. You should learn your facts before speaking lol.

Looks like that the Marines were using a (I think) M-203 or a M-16. The insurgents were returning fire with AK-47s. The chopper was using (probably) a M-134.
