mark, thanks for this heads up! deci1dio has worked pretty well for me. i tried it after your first post, and it has been great! i think i will share the knowledge with my homiez. hehehe.
I put my company on decideo about a month ago . I have bought a couple of leads , no bites yet. I was just wondering how many gigs you have gotten off of decidio. Thanks
be happy to share info with you if you join this community and participate, i usually do not respond to people who have no personal info or original videos
its a crappy camera, but its not about the camera its how i export the video from my video editing program. i just have a little digital still camera 8mp that takes video also, kodak. it only records in 15 fps/ but adobe premiere converts it to 30 fps
i export it in advanced windows media, video for broadband NTSC 2Mbps. I record my audio separately with a mic (AKG SR80 Lav UHF), and then match it up to the video in the program. gosh that sounded nerdy :-P
Marky Mark, How Many Out Of Those 30 Have Actually Given You A Deposit And Booked You? The Reason I Ask Is Because If You Spend $50 A Month And Get One Booking Would That Gig Be Worth The Time And Money You Put Into It? Also Are Most Of The Leads Providing Phone Numbers So That You Can Actually Talk To A Customer Rather Than Emailing Them? I Would Be A Little Leery To Trust A Website That Gives Me Nothing But Email Leads. Plus You Are Paying Per Day If I Heard You Right. Great Vid!
if your out there DJing for $100-200 a gig, then i'd say no...my gigs are $500-700 range. so i don't mind spending $50 to get one gig... nobody said gigs come easy, i wake up every morning and GO TO WORK!!! e mail, mailing lists, telephone calls, client meetings.
but what is nice about this web site is it doesn't cost anything to get started - i mean you don't have to sign up for a $200 program or anything like some other DJ ad web sites.
DJ Cotter, You Are Right. Hard Work Is Needed To Get The Gigs, And Does Pay Off When Done Right. Thank You For The Quick Response. This Might Be Worth A Try. Next Time Your In The Capital City Let's Meet Up?
