about a year ago i was only 12ish and was over 170 pounds. i hated my self so much that i tried to kill myself. my mirror always lied to me. and the scale told me i was fatter everyday. but after about 2 weeks of no food my stomach was eating its self. it hurt to badly i when to the dr and now im 13, happy, and 137 pounds. this is my life video

@98abbygail It's not worth it. Trust me. Some people actually end up gaining weight from bulimia because at most, even if you purge all of the food back up you can only get rid of 50% of the calories. And then your cheeks swell up because of your salivary glands so it looks like you gained weight whether you did or not. If you want to lose weight, you should do it the healthy way. I'm being such a hypocrite right now because I have ED. But don't wish to be bulimic. Please.

I liked my best guy friend for a long time, & he recently asked me out I said yes, then not even 12 hours later, he told me I don't want to date you anymore because I dont like you He then asked someone else out I know her and she's really pretty. Ever since then, this is pretty much basically how I feel. I'm not able to look in a mirror without finding all of the things that are wrong with me. I feel so ugly and fat. I've contemplated bulemia and annorexia, but I dont think I could do it.

Unrealistic portrayal of an eating disorder.. To throw up until one gets to a healthy weight probably occurs a lot more often than to throw up until one dies of malnutrition. The only reason bulimics are portrayed as super skinny is 'cause everything is stereotyped.

@MentalSelfMutilation well bulimics don't throw up until they are the proper wait. they fluctuate. but they do often die due to complications in their bodies from malnutrition, assuming they don't get treatment in time. you don't have to be scrawny to be malnourished, you just have to be lacking in proper nutrients. and they also get complications due to the acidic erosion in their esophagus's, stomachs, and mouths. but yes skinny bulimics is a misconception, that is anorexia.

I really like this song, the movie too. I suffered from eating disorders including bulimia and when I heard this song I was touched, I haven't had an eating disorder in a long time but the urges still come up especially when I dated someone and they were calling me plump and fat. good video though I wanted to point out that the girl is bulimic...not aneroxic. Bulimia is when you eat a lot then purge. Anorexia is when you eat very little and refuse to eat anything except maybe some crackers or chips every now and then.

But still, it is a good video you did a good job

Some anorexics DO purge.. The difference is Bulimics binge and purge. Anorexics eat very little or nothing at all, some purging the little they do it. This is more anorexic because they are more likely to getbone skinny. It's much harder for bulimics to get bone skinny.
