I don't work with grids enough! When I do, things tend to go... well.. smoother!

  • reminds me of the throat chakra. i'm intrigued.

  • Love the dramatic eyes too, Awesome!

  • Beautiful beautiful rose. Love the way you roll crayons on the art surface. It's almost as if the crayon is dragging your hand in a certain direction and not the other way round! :))

  • Thanks again, Gary! I have an image I am going to try this with, so wish me luck! :)

  • Love your videos & your work ...amazing!! (:

  • I really like the grid pattern on its own ... know what you mean about the balance between chaos and order

  • @lisacole690 Thanks Lisa ;) In my early painting days i always as a 'ritual' would start by adding a large grid before working:)

  • Just Beautiful! :0) I think I may try that. Thanks!

  • @BuffAngela158 Yeah it is easy and fun! Takes the guessing out of drawing, especially if you haven't practiced much!

  • great vid! :)

  • @unicklyhardcore Thanks glad u liked ;) Always trying to improve!

  • Hi Gary--great stuff--love getting to see you work! Just one newbie question: when you draw the grid over the original, does it

matter how big or small you make the squares of the grid?

  • @laurar1vera Thanks laura! It doesn't matter what size you make your grids. I tend to find that if i am drawing something which is complex and detailed i usually make the squares smaller but that is just a personal preference.

  • @laurar1vera Thanks again! I have an image I am going to try this with--wish me luck! :)

  • which song is this? could you pleeeeeeeaaaaase tell me? please?

  • @reginaangel this is a cover of Joni Mitchell's song titled "ALL I WANT"...I don't know who is singing it here....

  • @lindareena A brilliant singer by the name of Jay Brannan. He has his own youtube channel and also you can get his music from Itunes. Love his voice;)

  • @reginaangel This song is called 'All i want' and it is sung by Jay Brannan. You can download his music from itunes and he also has his own youtube channel. He is brilliant ;) Love his music

  • @PtLowrain Thanks so much, appreciate the sentiments :)

  • awesomeness. I love the colors.. mmm the lavender and blue, love it. Thanks for the video. Interesting to see you liked the grid being seen afterward. That's awesome.

  • @angiecat33 Thanks for commenting ;) I guess style of work is pretty messy and relaxed so leaving the grid is part of the philosophy ;)

  • Love your work! Very creative!!!

  • @PoconoPam Cheers thanks so much ;)
