Who would waste his time on this ,when there are these great albums of Hawkwind to explore ? No one touches the original Masters Of The Universe.
Lame wannabee space rock..Good businessmen though, they noticed a place in the market for this stuff, especialy for those that never heard the originators.☆
Actually, I give them respect for taking influence from great artists like Hawkwind. In fact, they are the reason I know about Hawkwind. You see, on the album 'Monolithic, Baby!' they covered the Robert Calvert track "The Right Stuff." And that's how I went on to listen to Robert Calvert, then Hawkwind. It's all a matter of perspective really. No need to diss them when they're just making the music they love. :3c
Nod Scene - Monster Magnet [Red Bank, New Jersey] - 1992 - "Dave Wyndorf's gravelly vocals stand out on this Stoner Metal song, and John McBain's guitar riffs are very spacey. Good first impression." - Spine of God [Bonus Track] [Import Germany] (Steamhammer)-2006.
REVIEW excerpt by Jason Ankeny (allmusic):
"The metal album for people who hate metal albums. ...a brilliant satire of headbanger culture so pitch perfect that it's almost tempting to take it at face value.
