In my opinion Mario and Sonic are good fighters: Mario has a great jump and good moves that gives him huge advantages when he is in ciritical situations, he is an expert in short-range-combat and his final smash is powerful.
Sonic has a great speed that gives him a lot advantage in short-range-combats and long-range-combats which gives their opponets a headache when it comes down to beat him directly in the face.

The majority of Mario haters and ignorant sonic fans are either very young or a fan of the NG sonic. I've found that sonic adventure battle:2 was the first sonic game for most of these people.

Excellent execution by both players. Mario really played up the flexibility, stick-and-move tactics, used plenty of grabs, dodges, and shields, and went to the air. And Sonic, for the win, used that blinding speed so well attached to the franchise. Mario's one-shot one-kill fighting style proved to be nearly as effective, but the round went to sonic.
Kudos to both fighters.
Definitely best Mario vs. Sonic I have seen in a long time.

THIS GAME IS THE $^!=+!!!!!!! i bought it as soon as it was brought out, how do i play online though? ive tried i get online, but i only get to the loading screen when you beat up the sandbag and it never gets passed that, what do i do?

They shouldn't have made anyone slower. Instead they should have made sonic faster!!

the problem is that they were fast already if they make sonic to fast he could be hard to control so they needed to balance them out, but thats my opinion. And super sonic is already insanely fast, soo they would have to make him even faster than the suped up sonic

well see sonic wone because the person playing sonic used sonic better than the other used mario. now u see its all about the player not the characteri mean sure sonic miggght lose if you put 2 lvl nines against eachother buuuut thats not even a factor as we are not computers it how we think up strategys and plans and are experiance cpus cant do that now can they....

You two seemed evenly matched;
Mario dodged almost all of Sonic's Dashgrabs, leaving 'em wide open.
Then again, most of Sonic's attacks left Mario hanging in the air.

His back throw was definitely NOT nerfed. It throws the enemy hella far, and is his best throw. In this video....I don't know what happened lol. Usually sonic woulda been thrown out lol

Excellent execution by both players. Mario really played up the flexibility, stick-and-move tactics, used plenty of grabs, dodges, and shields, and went to the air. And Sonic, for the win, used that blinding speed so well attached to the franchise. Mario's one-shot one-kill fighting style proved to be nearly as effective, but the round went to sonic.
Kudos to both fighters.
Definitely best Mario vs. Sonic I have seen in a long time.
