i think you need to look again at who is killing the iraqis. Don't say its an American genocide because the huge majority of Iraqis have been killed by fellow Iraqis, Syrians, Iranian, and Saudi insurgents. The Iraqi war was not right, but dont blame the US for the atrocities occuring right now, they are the only people protecting Iraqis from foreign insurgents bombing marketplaces and using Iraq as a training ground

There weren't any bombings under saddam; and without an invasion maybe there could have been a peaceful transition by the Iraqi people without the chaos and foreign influences (including maybe Mossad provocateurs who want the US to stay there and keep protecting Israel?) But driving out the invaders and fighting about how to do it - and getting revenge for all the killing of last 5 years against someone -- is what's driving much of the violence.
