A Catholic and an Anglican teach ecumenism course side by side

For those of you who don't know what ecumenism is about:

The coming together, setting aside religious differences, and finding common ground among Christians, Muslims, Jews, and the like. Exploring the cultures, and religious beliefs of others.

It is flourishing well in Catholicism.

I'm a Catholic, and I practice ecumenism.

Though I greatly respect the Catholic Church, it has fallen short. Several things of its doctrine are false: purgatory, having a high veneration of Mary (after all its not God the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and Virgin Mary), papal infallibility, and high veneration of saints. Its time though, to unite as one. After all we are all Christians!

@Kingwes40 well, don't you think it is a little insensitive to not venerate the virgin mother of God, who conceived by the Holy Spirit, to bring us our savior? of course, since Protestants treat her like she's nothing, but I'm sure Jesus thinks highly of her like we Catholics do... of course we are all Christians, but who divided us was Protestantism after all

@ArchangelMaria I don't want my comment misinterperated. I love the Catholic Churhc and greatly respect it. I have many friends who are Catholics. But I don't agree on their high veneration of Mary. Though I do respect and love Mary through the love of God, there isn't a quadinary (God the Father, Mother, Son, and Spirit).

@Kingwes40 I appreciate your respect! :) but (allow me) your statement is contradictory. By stating that Virgin might seem like part of the Holy Trinity, you imply that she is adored, but only the Holy Trinity can be adored, not the Virgin. Therefore, we highly venerate the Virgin, like you said, and there is nothing wrong with high veneration, specially if we are dealing with the mother of Jesus, hence my first comment. ;)
