You guys are being very harsh and quite rude (not all of you, but a good portion). Yes, the violin's intonation is not the best, but there is a difference between "Your intonation was not the best" and "that sounded terrible", and that is the difference between a critic and a rude comment.

My personal opinion is that it was the violin, not the violinist, that was off. She vibrato'd quite well, and there were several plusses to her playing. The piano sounded beautiful as a whole. Good job.

It's really likeable, but the violin seems like its 500 years old or never been tuned. You keep up tempo and all, but the sound of it is messed up. Not your fault, just try to fix t for the next time, ok? :P

some of the notes on the violin were a tad flat, but still good. as far as making the piano sound bad, no, because more likely than not, its the instrument and not the player. also, piano mics tend to suck compared to, say, karaoke or studio mics. they cant pick up higher frequency notes as well, so it sounds choppy

This is a really cool idea. And the violin is not as bad as everyone's making it out to be. It's hard to get a computer mic to pick up the full sound of a violin, since it lacks the mellow resonance of, for instance, a cello.

her bowing technique is horrid... shes not even holding the bow correctly... look at her fingers widely spread apart... try not moving your whole arm just your forearm.. and you will produce a more robust sound... that is technique... and for musical piece... abrupt stops of the bow are does not suffice.. instead try using legato.. long bow strokes...
