Cleaning laptop and replacing thermal paste!

hi can someone tell me i just took apart my laptop and it back together now and running fine but i replaced the old crusty thermal stuff in between the heat sink and the cpu with arctic silver 5 and there was a very light green pad of thermal Greece i think its called on another platform on the heat sink to the right of the cpu platform i replaced that with arctic silver 5 too and i was wondering was i supposed to do that???? please someone help

lol yuo should there was some crappy pad on the heatsink of mine and i took the heatsink off awhile back and never put and paste on it im surprised i still have a lappy lol

Nice vid idea. I would have liked it more if you took your time and showed how you replaced the TIM and how you cleaned the fan and stuff instead of "before/after" type stuff. However, i like idea and how you explained it. Once recommendation: Use a tripod. LOL
