I am a Gujarti Muslim and this movie is so true, it shows in really what happened in 2002 after godhra in gujarat. One innocent guy shot down by police in front of my eyes no need to say that he was a muslim and police was protecting the looters. police and looters were standing shoulder to shoulder. I am living now in UK, I am so proud to be an Indian and as specially Gujarati but whenever this slaughter came in my mind , it feel just same and so guilty to being GujaratI.

And something done in the medieval ages is not a justification for violence today... nor is it justified to look at other situations in other countries for justification in our country...Intolerance towards Islam and Muslims is the root cause for Muslim youth to chose the wrong path...

Nandita Das would have served the cause if she would have told us a story about the harmony between Hindus & Muslim in spite of such frictions. but it is a fact that thousands of Hindus were killed .......during the rule Muslim rulers in the name of Islam (exceptions like Sher shah Suri, Tipu Sultan, Quli Qutub Shah, Shia Nawabs of Awadh, Nawabs of Bhopal were there for sure)......

There are lots of historical records ..... Ex: Killing of Sikh Gurus by Aurangzeb.....Aurangzeb also destroyed the Kashi Visahvanath temple (historical fact).....

The only recorded incidence of persecution by Hindus is in ancient Tamil Nadu. Sri Lanka ( they are a special case anyway and both parties were ethnic Tamils) . Hindusim( all sects which despite their divergence of opinion value the Vedas)....... there were lots of debates of various scholars ( like Dawah ) and the victorious would convert..... thats different and not persecution........
