what the hell....whenever i do firefight all i get is 50 credits? i dunno i just got the game and before i linked my account to live i was getting like 4k credits and stuff. Then when i went live, not only did i drop to 50 creds, but i lost like 20k credits along with some armor and a couple ranks...
@ZodiacDragons If you were offline, the credits you were earning were illegitimate and had to be ammended.
Bungie went and reset everyone who got the game early to make it fair - if you were offline, you wouldn't have got this update and only got your credits reset AFTER you went back online. The reason they nerfed the offline play, was so people didn't just leave the game on all night and get rich.

yo. turn firefight on and put invincible in your game options. let the game idle for about two hours. come back an d you will recieve 4000 credits, roughly.
I also like when I leave my game to just place my dude in a forge map. Its not as much as you would get while playing. But you manage about 4,000 credits for doing nothing so. When you get tired just leave it there. Come back 4,000 credits and then you are ready to get even more sense you are about to play.

At the time, a game of matchmaking would get you around 500Cr, a much longer game of campaign would get you around 1500Cr, and a game of Firefight matchmaking would usually land you with over 2000Cr. LOL this doenst work forever first of all you had 4400 creds with challanges that arent everytime for firefight and you can only get them once. Also the commendation credits will decrease once you do it over and over again. I'm now a Colonel and i earn something between 1000/1500 creds without challanges :( so good luck with credits farming (aim for the challanges each day that are easy and give you lots of creds)
@superjedy2 I never said this works forever, I was just trying to make the point that regular challenges appear that include FF MM (AKA score attack). As for commendations, there are plenty that you can get in just gruntpocalypse (Pressision, headshot, small arms and nades to name a few).

@TheMightyPnut This video seems a bit pointless.. of course no ones gonna get banned if they just play score attack, It wouldn't make any sense for Bungie to ban legit play just because someone's playing a lot of the same game type. All this video does is explain that you can get quite a few credits in score attack. Which by the way you can get about 1K less in a standard game of Team Objective if not more when you play well and it might reduce the boredom you mentioned :)
I just do all the daily challenges, play a couple of firefight matches, maybe a couple of commendations at the places where you can just reverting to last save for about 30 minutes and hey presto you got 20,000 for the day!
if you're doing small arms, sniper attack on courtyard is just as easy and way more fun than gruntpocalypse, also you get specialist and leader commendations
bungie has a little chart on how people are doing in reach atm, 2% of the world who are playing raech are maxed on rank, and bout 84% of the world are still stuck at warrent officer, the rest is below warrent officer, 1% has got the achievent a momument to your sins, pretty shocking

The last rank in brigadier to become a general will you need 240.000 credit, to become a captain from warrant officier you need 66.000 credit. so warrant officier is a pretty easy rank. (for the last rank in halo reach you need 4.000.000 credit)

You dont get banned but you can only earn 60,000 cR a day then you get cR banned until the next day so 12 am and your good to go again. It happened to me tonight im already a lt.colonel tho so i dont care.

Onyx headshot, for example, needs 8000 headshots in Firefight.
In gruntpocalypse there are 120 enemies per game.
I get an average of 115 headshots per game.
At this rate, it would take you 70 games to get.
You get roughly 3500 for Onyx and the Cr from the other tiers (iron, bronze, silver and gold).
You also get about 1500 Cr per game anyway, this adds up to over 111,000Cr which get get you to Warrant officer Gr2 from one comm alone.

LOL this doenst work forever first of all you had 4400 creds with challanges that arent everytime for firefight and you can only get them once. Also the commendation credits will decrease once you do it over and over again. I'm now a Colonel and i earn something between 1000/1500 creds without challanges :( so good luck with credits farming (aim for the challanges each day that are easy and give you lots of creds)

@superjedy2 I never said this works forever, I was just trying to make the point that regular challenges appear that include FF MM (AKA score attack). As for commendations, there are plenty that you can get in just gruntpocalypse (Pressision, headshot, small arms and nades to name a few).

@TheMightyPnut This video seems a bit pointless.. of course no ones gonna get banned if they just play score attack, It wouldn't make any sense for Bungie to ban legit play just because someone's playing a lot of the same game type. All this video does is explain that you can get quite a few credits in score attack. Which by the way you can get about 1K less in a standard game of Team Objective if not more when you play well and it might reduce the boredom you mentioned :)

I just do all the daily challenges, play a couple of firefight matches, maybe a couple of commendations at the places where you can just reverting to last save for about 30 minutes and hey presto you got 20,000 for the day!

bungie has a little chart on how people are doing in reach atm, 2% of the world who are playing raech are maxed on rank, and bout 84% of the world are still stuck at warrent officer, the rest is below warrent officer, 1% has got the achievent a momument to your sins, pretty shocking

@0070Xedilian lol, warrant officier is an easy rank. Im brigadier and you need for each rank (1-3) 120.000 credit, for warrant officier you need 33.000 credit for each rank (1-3). The last rank in brigadier to become a general will you need 240.000 credit, to become a captain from warrant officier you need 66.000 credit. so warrant officier is a pretty easy rank. (for the last rank in halo reach you need 4.000.000 credit)

You dont get banned but you can only earn 60,000 cR a day then you get cR banned until the next day so 12 am and your good to go again. It happened to me tonight im already a lt.colonel tho so i dont care.
