I thought this video would be awful at first glance....this guy makes some great points. Responsible medication use is possible. Some overdue it. Communicate with your physician and be careful. im not a doctor, but when i was taking ambien i was told i was only suppose to take it for two weeks and that was the general rule for everyone. ambien just made me sleep walk, eat everything in sight and then not remembering shit the next day. i'm not hating on ambien, but all i have to say is that thank god i live in a medical marijuana state and have a reccomendation. heavy indicas put me out faster then any pill does.

When I used to take ambien, I would always end up discovering videos of myself days or weeks after... either videos of my self naked doing naked stuff or rapping nonsensical raps. I take ambien every night for the last 2.5 yr.s. Lunesta did not work for me. I have had a problem sleeping my whole life. i'm 34. After I had been working nights for a year, starting a few years ago, all i could say was : thank you god for making man create ambien.
Just take some melotonin and some aspirin or drink yourself to sleep with some cheap malt liquor. Avoid drugs with side effects like sleep driving and hallucinations.

To people who say Ambien isn't addictive, I got addicted to it, used 3-10 a day and by the end I never slept on it and barely felt it. But I was able to quit. I found it more addictive than lorazepam. It's not like coke or heroin of course, but be cautious, not for you but for me

That's why you either set up a video camera to record your adventures once you pop the pill, or keep a notebook with you and jot stuff down. It's quite a fun read when you wake up. It also helps you actually remember what happened the night before. Not just because you've got it on paper now, but because you took the couple seconds to write it at the time.
Ambien is godsend for people like vinny and myself. I sure do wish I could remember all the things I've done while blacked out. My mom said one time she woke up at 4 in the morning with all the lights in the house on, all the doors were open, my car was parked across the street, and she found me passed out, naked on my bed, covered in cookies. I would like to share this with you, I do take ambien, ive been on it for about 4 years now. Ambien does work, it a wonderful sleep aid. But, some people have the memory loss side effect. Im sorry to say that ambien cost me a spleen, kidney, a broken neck in 3 places, 5 ribs, a hell of a crushed wrist and right arm, massive head trama, and brain injury. I had taken it one night when I was by myself and got in my car and was going to my mom's house. (Unknown to me even to this day).

It's funny how it's backwards with me and you in terms of Ambien and Seroquel. Ambien always gave me bad hangovers, but Seroquel never gave me any problems. The medical truth is that Ambien is addictive and usually makes you feel like you have a hangover the next day, and Seroquel doesn't give you hangovers and it is not addictive. So my body reacts normally to both of them, but you says yours is different hmm. Oh and I got the medical facts from several of my doctors.

To people who say Ambien isn't addictive, I got addicted to it, used 3-10 a day and by the end I never slept on it and barely felt it. But I was able to quit. I found it more addictive than lorazepam. It's not like coke or heroin of course, but be cautious, not for you but for me

That's why you either set up a video camera to record your adventures once you pop the pill, or keep a notebook with you and jot stuff down. It's quite a fun read when you wake up. It also helps you actually remember what happened the night before. Not just because you've got it on paper now, but because you took the couple seconds to write it at the time.

I took ambien, I may have eaten some fish with ice cream but I didn't feel the urge to take this sleeping pill every night. Nor did I have any withdrawal symptoms. If I wake up with anxiety and I need to sleep, then I will take it. The people who were being interviewed for this rating starved TV program don't know it all and judging from they talk, they have no training in science. If Ambien is a "narcotic", then break out with something that really works: Seconal.

I would like to share this with you, I do take ambien, ive been on it for about 4 years now. Ambien does work, it a wonderful sleep aid. But, some people have the memory loss side effect. Im sorry to say that ambien cost me a spleen, kidney, a broken neck in 3 places, 5 ribs, a hell of a crushed wrist and right arm, massive head trama, and brain injury. I had taken it one night when I was by myself and got in my car and was going to my mom's house. (Unknown to me even to this day).

i love ambien! i regularly smoke a whole bottle of the stuff, its safe if not mixed with another CNS depressant, yes tolerance can happen quite quickly, but theres no physical dependancy really unless ur taking high doses every night for a year. having tried most drugs it is perhaps my fave. addiction means psychological dependance and thats not the drugs fault its the persons.

As 9926dw, above, points out, parasomnambulic activity can result in one performing activities in a semi-awake state thet can result in serious injury or death. Add the amnesia to that and you could end up injuring or killing someone and not even remember doing it.

It's funny how it's backwards with me and you in terms of Ambien and Seroquel. Ambien always gave me bad hangovers, but Seroquel never gave me any problems. The medical truth is that Ambien is addictive and usually makes you feel like you have a hangover the next day, and Seroquel doesn't give you hangovers and it is not addictive. So my body reacts normally to both of them, but you says yours is different hmm. Oh and I got the medical facts from several of my doctors.

I've met plenty of people who do it once in a while or maybe even a bit more than that but they never get addicted. At a level of addiction where its just addictive because people like to do it,the initial meaning is lost sense all things helpful could be described as addictive.Without withdrawal or any negative effects caused by not having something,addictive is reduced to a term people use to make something sound bad as it keeps its negative connotation but looses any real life meaning.I have nothing against cocain but it does cause withdrawal and thus it's addiction potential is not comparable with ambien.

I'm no expert on Ambien but as with other meds, prescribed or not, these sound like the possible and most extreme of the side effects. And as with everything, "responsible" use is likely to not cause any of these. I am sure there are also "safer" alternatives.

Your statement here can be mostly debunked with the title of your video. If you were trying to save the drug for it's primary purpose, and not for some other reason, such as abusing its hallucinogenic properties, then why title your video, "Don't let the yuppies steal our freedom?" Why not something like "Reasons to Keep Ambien Around," or, "The Usefullness of Ambien?" The way you worded your title says that you're fighting for the high, not the sleep aid.

yo i really didnt like your other videos... but i really liked this one i couldnt agree more. im on benzos? an am thinking about trying to switch to ambein for sleep, cause benzos barley sedate me.... is ambein at all like seroquel? thats the only perscribed sleep aid ive tried... i guess the other effects are cool but i am an insomniac? so thats basicaly what im lookin for in a med. swamp creatures sound ok

I've heard ambien causes hallucinations if you stay awake after taking it. Anyone on here care to explain what they are like, if you have expirienced them? (are they pleasant, freaky, etc.)

You don't see or hear anything but you just think weirdly. Look at the Stan vs Ambien video. He's not seeing things but he thinks he can burrow in the carpet and that his robotic arm can't absorb the bear energy.

You do see visual hallucinations and the wierd stuff you think isn't overwhelming. Mostly you have a lack of thoughts which is what makes sleep easy. The few rare weird thoughts i've had had to do with mixing food and thinking the chocolate army was battling the oatmeal army. With how brain dead you are on the stuff i wouldn't call that a hallucination, id call that a stupid thought.

YES. I've got insomnia and the views of those retards on the tv are bullshit. If i go to sleep when i'm tired, it takes roughly 36 hours to "get tired." Ambien makes me fall asleep and stay asleep. I have, on occasion, stayed
