Whenever I try to log into the Netflix or Twittter app on the Magic Canvas, it ALWAYS says I always have my password or username wrong when I know I have it right. Do you know why?

This computer (Hp touchsmart 600) is garbage (Well atleast the graphics card is!). It can't handle 80% of the games out in the market right now. i turned this computer in to a gaming computer:) normal vista rating 4.4.. I said fuck that i don't want that small rating soo.. i searched the internet and their is no way of overclocking the hptouch smart:P since i am 15 years old and i paid for it :P i found my own way and brought my rating up to 4.8:)

windows and apple are 2 differnt. it isn't fair to compare and say one is better. think of it as counter strike 1.6 and counter strike source. they are significally diff but they all have the same basis. to get either one depends on ur thoughts not others
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this one! The touch screen is just a gimmick, you rarely use it and after a while you will figure its quicker to use the mouse. I have HP Touchsmart IQ506 and ever since I've got it there has been non stop problems. It constantly freezes and to reboot you have to either unplug or hold down power button after a while this will result in a few hardware failures, like mine did HP offers no help what so ever! Stay away there are cheaper and better options.

Having apps that are designed to take advantage of the muti-touch is the reason why we need a touch device.. When imac TOUCH comes out , it will surpise the world again and redefine a touch desktop is..

Awosome tablets. Like the pressure sensitive Wacom Digitizer better, Just bought a refurbished tx2 (Very similiar to this one) with modified heatsink. Run much cooler and consume less battery. We have a touch smart at the dixons in the near city. You can even use it. You can touch on a symbool in the right corner of the screen. Than there appears a screen with symbools and widgets. you can move the symbools over the whole screen.
And when you start Windows Word and you want to type something. There appears a keyboard over the whole screen so you can't see what you are typing.
When iMac comes with a touchscreen it wil destruct the HP.
Im getting a HP Touchsmart PC LCD 300-1003. I also found out the one with the Audio in and Video in and the cable hook up thing is only on the LCD 300-1025. There are two versions of this PC. LCD 300-1003 is cheaper but does not have the Audio in, Cable hook up, or Video in unlike the LCD 300-1025. Shockingly the 300-1003 is under $900 dollars and i beleive teh 300-1025 is alittle over $900 dollars.

Im a mac user but I am also a programmer. I have a mac because I love it but the products I need to program with java are hard to find an equivalent for a mac software that dose the something as a windows software.What I was thinking about doing was getting an HDMI converter so I can use my macbook pro 16in. laptop with some type of Pc desktop. What dose every 1 recommend? The only issue im worried about is viruses. That is why I have a mac. But I need to download items that may contain these.
@ibold1000 What are you talking about freedom and upgradeability with Microsoft? Microsoft makes software not the hardware. The only thing you can upgrade on this computer is the memory. People used to make fun of the Macs and how they weren't upgradeable. Well they're are not laughing anymore because every PC company is phasing out towers for all in ones.
@TAKEAPlLL we've had a a touch smart for some time now and we upgraded the graphics on it. And my dad just bought an HP Pavilion HPE h8m last week from there website for his business. and it indeed has a tower. Dell, HP, Acer and all PC hard ware still make towers.
@ibold1000 The majority of Touchsmarts have soldered graphics cards. The graphics cards in HP Touchsmarts suck to begin with, that's why they let you upgrade in SOME models. And the ones that do let you upgrade cost more than some of the iMacs do when its all said and done. So tell me again how Microsoft lets you upgrade, when it is HP that makes the computer? Towers are a thing of the past and iMac clones are popping up everywhere now, don't deny it. BTW, Have fun with your viruses.
@TAKEAPlLL eVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE Graphics cost 100$ Local computer guy installed it for free. Games are amazing and touch screen works like a dream. All our PC's from windows 95 have never got a virus. our imac we bought in 05 seems to be the only computer we have ever had problems with. and pc's are a lot more customizable. We love are Mac though
@TAKEAPlLL screen has some issues, flickers and shuts off. some times when i am trying to boot it up it will just stay at the loading screen and i have to boot it again. other than that it is great
@ibold1000 All computers do that, it's called sleep mode. If it's stays at the loading screen it's probably low on RAM or disc space. That's not really a problem, it all comes down to maintenance.

I have IQ 816 model, it does not work from the beginning, been sent for a repair 8 times. Still does not work. HP refuses to repair. After I told I will file a lawsuit, now they even refuse to talk to me. This is total shit, not $2200 worth computer.
I'd say the Desktop. The laptop is cool but because it has the touch screen feature it seriously sucks up the power from it, resulting in 3 hour MAX battery power.
any of the IQ800 series (25 inch) will have a TV Tuner. If you want the 22 inch (IQ500 series), not all of them have TV tuners. The model numbers depend on the region, so what country are you in?

@TAKEAPlLL screen has some issues, flickers and shuts off. some times when i am trying to boot it up it will just stay at the loading screen and i have to boot it again. other than that it is great

@ibold1000 All computers do that, it's called sleep mode. If it's stays at the loading screen it's probably low on RAM or disc space. That's not really a problem, it all comes down to maintenance.

didn't you create the recovery dvd's? if not you can order them on the HP site(you need proof of purchase of the HP touchsmart).

Apple did not invent touch screen, it's been round from the 80's, nor did the invent motion sensing the mouse or a pile of other stuff people say they invented.

Well ldkujd claimed that apple "begint touch" the reply was directed to him, but in general people give Apple credit for stuff like multi-touch even though they didn't create it.

Just purchased the model IQ526 2 weeks ago. Afraid to OPEN!!! Been reading mixed reviews. Dont want to have problems then have a restock fee if I try to return it opened. Got it for a good price $1,100.
Read somewhere it was not true Multi-touch technology. What does that mean? Will it work better with Windows 7? Also looking at the Dell Studio 19. HELP!!!

I have IQ 816 model, it does not work from the beginning, been sent for a repair 8 times. Still does not work. HP refuses to repair. After I told I will file a lawsuit, now they even refuse to talk to me. This is total shit, not $2200 worth computer.

I'd say the Desktop. The laptop is cool but because it has the touch screen feature it seriously sucks up the power from it, resulting in 3 hour MAX battery power.

any of the IQ800 series (25 inch) will have a TV Tuner. If you want the 22 inch (IQ500 series), not all of them have TV tuners. The model numbers depend on the region, so what country are you in?

if you get the model with a TV

Love the system. Great performance and works great with TV. Never got used to the going into the touch software they provided. After about two weeks just seemed to be redundant. How about for everyone else?

I have a home-built rig that runs circles around his TouchSmart; Gigabyte EP45-UD3R board, Core 2 Duo 3.6 GHz, GeForce 9500GT, RaidMax Tornado case, 4 120mm blue LED fans, Western Digital Caviar 500GB drive, running Windows 7--cost my 440 bucks to build. His slow TouchSmart was like $2,200....
