She has always cared deeply about many issues.She just has never felt the need to boast about how much she has done for so many causes.And it makes me laugh just how people STILL want to speculate about how much of a 'ball-breaker' she is. At 69 years of age she's more than adequately proven that she's got where she is by sheer hard work,guts & determination.Of course,having that terrific musical instrument known as her voice hasn't hurt any,lol!
@Messylin What seems a pity, is that anyone could judge another human's walk in this life on a three and a half minute clip. Could you stand up against the same scrutiny? I mean in three and a half minutes?
@nyc11104 well...at least she knows what she wants. She has such stage fright that she always has to have a schedule and a routine. I'm sure she does this with everything...so she's just being herself. It would be wrong of her to put on a "persona". She is a real person, with her strengths and flaws. I love her. She is an inspiration.

@bellahelly She was very rude when my cousin, an actress, dined with her. Kept asking her name on purpose every three minutes when she tried to speak. My cousin said, " I don't know how they make her look good for the camera, she's ugly"
Diane Keaton and especially Lauren Bacall were sweethearts to my cousin, however. So I am a fan of those two ladies. Barbra doesn't sound like no lady to me.

Barbra had great regrets about selling off the Tiffany lamp and actually bought it back so it could go in a museum (for double the price, mind!!)
