  • glad you figure out what was for you. I think it better this way man just to grow them yourself you knowing at the end of the day them locs that you grew for months and years are all you! no fake hair added. stay up fam

  • Good look, you got ur man card back.... Leave them extensions for the ladies...

  • @LICKPIMP Thank you so much, I was waiting patiently for you to give me back my manhood..........

  • try something new i guess maybe flat iron styles get asian style/white boy look

  • Good luck with your new journey...

  • @qochemist Thank yu

  • I think the reason locs look like they grow longer is because its tons of dead hear near the ends of the locs. Have you ever seen someone take their locs out and how much shorter their hair is than the loc was. the hair just tangles into itself giving it length.

  • @artistNexile That makes A LOT of sense, thanks

  • Discriminating against lock wearer are we??? lol jk Does it have to be an adult? Maybe my daughter can do it? She's 12 with a head full of thick hair. LMK...

  • @tbey82 Lol....nah no discrimination here. Her hair might be too long, they wanna see me do starter locs. I took a friend of mine that has shoulder length hair and it was very difficult but I managed. Thank you though :)!

  • Your real hair looked waaaaaaay better than the loc exten.sions. At least you tried it out.Nothing wrong with that

Loose afro hair can grow long.My hair is about your texture and is growing near my waist now. Requires a lot of care though. For some reason, there are alot of people that think our hair can't grow past our shoulder.

  • @lilyrara For real, when I first found out about was from a blog my friend sent to me. This girls hair is sooooo long and shes not mixed or anything she just takes really good care of her natural hair. So I want to be the one the first guys on youtube to do it....if there isnt one on here already.

  • @renceferd83

Yeah. I've been watching hair vids so long I didn't even realise that my hair had gotten pretty damn long. LOL. I was doing the same thing. I wanted to know how long it would grow. My mom said that people have a genetically determined terminal length. She was suprised to see mine get this long though.

There's only a handful of male loose natural hair vloggers. Could do with a few more IMO. Female ones with crazy length are Sera2544, Mwedzi , Naturalhairgrowth101

  • @lilyrara Thank you, I'm def gonna check them out

  • Damn...smh... just wished u would've left your hair alone from the jump...seems like you've become semi-confused ever since the cut...I know it's hard to leave things alone, b/c most of us lack patience when it comes to hair/appearance, but you'll get frustrated w/ the fro shortly, b/c either a job situation will come about and you'll have doubts, or it won't be as managable as u want it to be... SOMETHING... but i think that's the best idea imo...just grow the fro out and do what it do

  • @Hizzoner21 Not for nothing my first set of locs were bound to drop out of my head eventually, I wasn't taking care of them and if you see my earlier videos to my latest videos before cutting them off my locs were racing away from my forehead....so no regrets. I'm content with the fro right now.

  • when you are growing your hair naturally without locs your hair strips when you comb it and causes the hair to break. When you have locs all the dead hair that would usually come out when you comb your hair stays in place and thats why locs tend to get much longer.

  • @BabyMajesty Makes total sense, thank you!

  • @BabyMajesty

lol theres is no dead hair

hair is dead matter from the start

  • @KillahB89 ok basically you just contradicted yourself because you said there is no dead hair then u said its dead from the start. and if im correct rather its dead when its in your scalp or out its still dead sir....

  • @BabyMajesty

No i did not. To make it more clear the there is no "dead hair". Hair is hair.

It is all dead. Calling broken hair "dead" is incorrect

  • @KillahB89 lol ok whatever you say.

  • @BabyMajesty

haha no prob. nice dread doe

  • breakage is the main reasons afros "stop" growing. too much blow drying and picking. locks are better at retaining length because (generally) it keeps you from messing with your hair too much.

  • @corey8v yea exactly so whatever hair you might have shed during the normal hair growth period just attaches to the locs thus making it longer faster.

  • u look like chris off the wire

  • @513swan That's the first accurate comparison I've ever gotten Lmao! I really do though

  • @TerryTorroHD ha it wasnt ur looks but ur hair is uniquely nappy, just like chris i have no clue how his hair got like dat

  • Chop Chop QUaap Bow!!!!!
