Dove in Hebrew is Yonah, the same name as the prophet sent to Ninveh (this is part of the same place the scattered sheep of the 10 tribes known Scripturally as Ephraim/ the Prodigal Son was exiled into ~ Assyria) & this book (Jonah) is read on Yom Kippur (on 10th of Tishrei = Sept. 17th, '10 at sundown thru Sept 18th at sundown). The Hebraic understanding of dove is the symbol of Ephraim as it is used in Song of Sol. 1:15, 2:14, 4:1, 5:2 & Isa. 38:4-14, 60:8-9, Eze. 7:16, Hos 7:8-16, 11:10-12.
@PantheraAtrox Yes, the dove is also the symbol of the Holy Spirit as in the rule of first use in Gen. 8:8-11 as the 'yonah' in Hebrew. The RSTNE footnotes on verses read: A remez/ hint that after the flood, YHWH would move forward 2 produce olive branches in the olive tree of Yisrael, ... they would be the only survivors after the end time destruction of earth by fire. The dove symbolizes the Set Apart Spirit’s hold on Renewed Covenant Yisrael, coming safely into the ark of Yahushua’s love.
@PantheraAtrox Yes. That's all. It was used as a symbol, therefore, the real meaning of dove is insignificant. The symbol becomes the meaning. Example: in Rev 17.15, in prophecy, the Bible defines "waters" as symbolizing "peoples, nations, multitudes, and tongues." In Rev 17.1 the picture is of the harlot ruling over many nations. The real meaning of waters here is irrelevant; the symbolic meaning takes precedent; it becomes the real meaning. Hopes this helps.
I usually like your videos but I feel this one is incomplete. For example why is Dove a pagan word? Also you did not say anything about the words holy or glory. The video that explained the word "church'' was much more complete. But so far I enjoy your videos and learn from them.

Wasn't the Dove just a metaphorical symbol used for the Holy Spirit?
