And something else I consider to be very important: can we easily replace the hard drive or RAM without unscrewing the whole case and lose the warranty?
@OpticalFascism Well think about it. What could that be used for? A projector. Maybe you have a good VGA projector at the office that you don't wanna trash just because it isn't modern anymore. Lots of modern laptops also have a vga port exactly for these reasons. It's still worth having one for reasons like this.
@0peppers No, I don't have a projector and don't see the need for one. Why are so many manufacturers holding on to the deprecated VGA port when we have DVI since ages too and now HDMI?
@OpticalFascism You don't have a projector and you don't see the need for one. You're not obligated to buy it. There's still a good deal of devices with vga out there that work and are still sold. Why are we using cds and dvds if we have bluray? Why are we using hdds when we have ssds? Why do we use wired when we have wireless? Because it works and it's affordable. Hanging on a bit more to the old is not a bad thing.
@EdStockman Hi Ed -- if you are interested in a Lenovo all-in-one with a touchscreen you might want to check out our IdeaCentre B520. It is a beast. Regards...
