  • The sheath is made to fit the loops in the combat vest used by most swedish soldiers. (sv2k) That's why it looks so weird.

  • i bought mine for $50 but im in australia

  • Viking design!!!

  • Should have bought a High Carbon knife stainless is for pussies!

  • I would like to see this review along side the mora 711

  • I keep wondering if that odd grind makes sharpening the knife difficult, going from that wide edge bevel to that narrow one.

  • @CanItAlready - I had that thought too, but once I got to sharpening it, it didn't really bother me. You start off in the wide area and as you move out to the tip, the transition seems simple.

  • you can get em of ebay and they are geniuen 2 for 60$ it's a good deal im going to get some

  • is it possible to buy better sheafs for this knife

    kind regards

  • i just ordered my first mora 2000 and my 2nd carbon mora clipper from ragweed forge! i find that all mora knives with synthetic handles are super comfortable to hold-im looking at getting the mora 2000/erikkson hand axe gift set-if you beat me to getting the axe please review and let me know!

excellent review and its much appreciated that you put it up!

  • @nalday07 thanks nalday07. Hmmm an axe eh. I need to get some one of these days :)

  • nice spyderco lol

  • wow 30 dollars you pay way to much for that knife, in sweden we pay half that :p i guess u pay for shipping

  • a proplem with manny knifes is that its so good so u dont use it and if. and u leave it att home it will not do anny good thats way u got mora 2000 u wanna havet with u all the time and not be afriad to use it :o)

  • thats the same way i feel about the regular Mora SL Series. I used that thing till it chipped and i threw it out. Do i regret it? No. Now i know not to Baton in the semi dark

  • There's a new line of spray paint that bonds with the plastic (no special prep work needed). So, paint it black, and be a happy camper.

  • hey good info to know. I'll see if I can find some sometime. I actually don't mind the color, but it would be a cool mod.

  • good review - you should do mora these reviews!

  • You can get this knife for 18 dollars in Sweden :)

  • We need these in Carbon

  • @dynamicz108 we rly do, tired of stainless

  • Use axe next time, these are for bushcrafting, not abuse.

  • This blade appears to have a sweet finish and a cool shape.. For 30 bucks, I must have one. I won't use it as a Rambo knife. I will just covet it. If a man tries to force himself on me, will I be able to use it as defensive poking device?

  • You will have to test is against Bruno

  • Very nice, I wana get one as well, cant really beat the price and they make great bushcraft knives! Although I prefer the Moras with the wooden handles, as they have full length hidden tangs.

  • Thanks, nice review now im gonna get one for sure :P

  • lol the sheath looks like some kind of dino skin

  • totally does look like dino skin lol
