I graduated MSc in 1994. It was one of the best episodes in my life, and my first experience of living outside my home country (Philippines). I now live and work in the United States. I lived in Hillhead which is alright except there aren't enough cooking utensils for a self-catering flat. One of my flatmates always take the pots and pans and store his stinking food in them and stock them in the fridge..leaving the others with nothing to use for cooking! So inconsiderate!
Thankyou so much, I was there in the 90s (graduated 97) Britpop hit during that time, my head was full of Pulp, Blur, Oasis etc watching this! What a shame to see the Student Union closed and disused. Had so many amazing nights in there :( I was in Adam Smith House at Hillhead in 1st year, looks exactly the same lol

Thanks for the memories - I was there between 1981 and 1985. It looks like they still have the same mini-cookers in the Hillhead flat kitchens!
The Halls of Residence that was demolished was Dunbar Hall. I spent my first year there.
