I am doing this song for a music festival in our city. I have no idea what to do for blocking in it. Like stage props and hand props because I don't have a Jo to sing to because that would be categorized under duet. Does anybody have any idea what I should use and maybe some blocking suggestions?
My high school is doing this show and I spent the past three months saying how much I wanted beth, then my theatre teacher kept telling me how talented I am at playing older roles. Now that I think of it, I love Marmie so much more then beth.
My school did this play this year, and this was one of my favorite songs. I auditioned and didn't make it, but stage crew was a ton of fun! My only regrets are not being able to see the show from the front and missing some scenes as a consequence. Still, the novel has been part of me for years, and now the play is part of me, too. It doesn't matter anymore whether I was a character or a stage ninja. I know that my life has changed, even if it's only a little bit, thanks to Little Women.
