Keep reading the manga and once you finish part one, there's gaiden - all about Kakashi's past. If you're watching the anime, they haven't gotten that far in Japan. The filler season continues till April, I think and then I'm assuming they'll do gaiden. Gaiden shows Kakashi before the war, when the Fourth Hokage was his sensei. It's amazing, and tragic. Of course. Afterall, in the anime, (if you've seen this far) he does tell Sasuke that everyone important to him have already died. So sad...
oh thanks for that info, I was reading the manga but dropped it to watch the series and never picked it up again, I was meaning to pick it up but then I discovered Death Note..great manga, I will keep reading on in Naruto once I have the chance
