I saw them on Heavy Montreal last Saturday 24th, and their show was amazing! Lips and Robb are very good showmen, their connection with the public was in my opinion the best of the Saturday's bands. They have pretty much more energy alive than many other younger bands out there.

I remember being into Anvil when I was just getting into metal, 12-13 years old...pre-internet days, we had no cable, I didn't get the magazines, so I got the impression from the brief videos I saw of them playing stadiums (opening for bon jovi in Japan, one of their very few stadium tours, it turns out) and the fact that the public library had lots of Anvil and little other metal that Anvil was one of the more well known bands...also KickAxe and Iron Gypsy...

Great Metal band from Toronto, back in the day you couldn't open a metal zine or go anywhere without seeing or hearing their music. Loved them since Metal on Metal. It sucks how great Canadian bands are often overlooked while the crap bands manage to cross over. This is an amazing cover song, I was pleased to find it. Thanks for uploading it.
