@maillve Wow.. dude. I dont like MW3 too much either, but Infinity Ward developed the original COD and the best COD in history; COD4. So, I'm pretty sure they DO know the "recipe". Treyarch's CODs have taken what IW did (perks, killstreaks, pro perks, etc) and changed and added some things, like in Black Ops with COD points and Wager matches. As you said, the best thing from Treyarch games is zombies. But, don't forget that every COD you liked is in part due to IW

I personally like Survival Mode better than Zombies, but I do enjoy zombies quite a bit and I'm not bashing it. I think Survival Mode has a lot of qualities I like to find in a game, or mini game and the fact you have more than 2 maps that you don't have to pay for is really appealing to an audience that doesn't have a lot of money at their disposal. Of course there could be improvements to both Zombies and Survival Mode, but who cares. I just want a friggin game that allows 4 player local play.

The fact that survival is only 2 ppl sucks dick. It always loses connection. There are no easter eggs and it gets more boring than zombies does. What does zombies do in a cod game it's not really anything special because its waaaaay to many zombie games and BO zombies was just a buggy piece of shit. Treyarch was to lazy to make you able to climb stuff beacause it would need a coding god to make the AI good enough to be able to climb shit. Something about having hordes of undead, screaming, bloodied up zombies sprinting at you gives you an adrenaline rush that lasts hours. survival mode is a wave based story mode. nothing new or exciting. And Yes, Zombies was buggy and glitchy but, the bugs will be exploited in survival mode soon, give it a few months. And who camps on zombies? If you camp on any map you will usually get overrun by level 20 or 30.
@simx98 If you camp then you aren't exactly a good player...if you try that on Shangri-La you will get destroyed and overun pretty fast...Zombies has it's hidden storyline also with lots of hidden easter eggs and music and the characters you play it make it very funny and enjoyable with 4 friends, plus the zombie maps actually have effort put into them but survival just recycled the multiplayer maps. Sure it's fun but there's no atmosphere to it compared to eerie undead chasing you.
This video was very disappointing to hear from you TheGUNNShop, you are prolly eating your words now. I’m gunna go off on a bit of a rant here, so sorry. I usually like your videos. First off, WAW zombies 4player-good, MW2 spec ops 2 player-bad, BO zombies 4 player-good, MW3 Survival mode 2 player-bad. Notice the trend. With 4 player you get more perspectives and help from various angles. It’s more fun to have 4 people chatting in a game that can last a few hours, you form some good bonds.
2nd, It is about the zombies… Resident evil, Left 4 dead, RDR undead nightmare, plants vs zombies, dead Island, dead rising. And the hundreds of movies and shows that feature zombies. People WANT F#ckin zombies! 3rd you say that zombies is a mini game? Zombies is favorited by millions. Every Treyarch expansion in WAW and BO had a zombies map. And BO’s last expansion only featured zombies. 5 zombie maps to be exact, so don’t down play the enormity of the zombies game. IT’S HUGE!
And 4th activision listens with a narrow mind of how they wanna go. They were smart in covering up the the coop of MW2 on opening day, because they knew tons of people were going to hate spec ops. And then after getting criticized heavily for the massive lack of 4 player wave base action, they get it half right in MW3 by crapping out Survival mode, sure a bit better but no 4 player and no zombies.
All the stuff you said about stopping power and tactical insertions has nothing to do with coop so you coulda saved that for another segment. But obviously you are super jazzed about your new game MW2 and a half, so have fun and I will save my $60 for next November.
If there were to be a zombie's game made there is no way i would want Infinity Ward to do it I think treyarch were the ones to make zombies massive so they should be the ones to continue with it. I don't think a spec ops kind of game would be big it just doesn't have the same feel that zombies has
zombies was created out of creative motivation, survival was created out of competitive motivation and since cod 4 infinity ward has gone down to shit and after playing hours of both zombies and survival overall zombies is more engrossing, survival really is just like a gimmick fun for a bit but nothing you really want to drag out. and by the way dinosaurs!!
Played survival mode actually I like it better than zombies like any other game both got ups and downs zombies after you get the ray gun you can just circle and kill the good part was that you don't got to worry about the zombies that are far away when no zombies around. Mw3 you can get over run after round 20 to easy and the good thing is that you can't see noobs with over powered weapons

Zombies was great fun! Until you start circling the zombies and thundergunning them... Once you knew what you were doing it became easy and monotonous, the only limit to the round you could achieve was time.
Survival is much better IMO, as there (so far, apart from glitches) are no rediculously easy tactics that nulliufy skill, although I still wish they had Survival SpecOps AND Zombies : )

In survival mode it is like zombies but you will have the soldier shooting at you instead of how zombies will attack you when your close to them. I loved Zombies but survival mode is epic!
now, I'm not disagreeing with you (why would I? your points are valid) but in my opinion, it's about the zombies themselves. like the CoD WaW map, I like it when there's a sort of rivalry. it's not just survival, they WANT to stop you, they want to bring you down, and that, for me, fires up the gameplay. i just hope Treyarch can keep up that rivalry, where your not just food, you're a true enemy for the zombies.

screw multiplayer it's full of nothing but assholes who are rude and hatefull, i want to play with people not against. the campaign is the best part of any game but game designers know they will make more money by selling multiplayer map packs to assholes who just want to kill other people for fun. zombies is more fun because you team up against the computer but even that mode can suck because of assholes who tell everyone they suck. i for one hate tea baggers and people who hate on others
air support more strikes like ac-130 support like the ac-130 kills enemies for only one round, hovering helicoper, pave low, ospra leaving one random care package, go away when they die only one per team mate. and for the squads mix the up like ( 2 deltas and 1 riot shield) (2 riot shield and 1 rpg) (3 rpg) (1 assault jug and 2 riot shield) (3 assault jugs) (2 assault jugs and 1 riot shield jug) ( 3 riot shield jug"s) and that you have up to 3 squads per team mate, you name the squads.
on survival you need to add a bunch of stuff to destroy zombie like LAMOtyler said make it 4 players. on the weapons add more attachments and camos just for style i guess.
on equipment you should add bouncing betty's, imp's, sam turret's, jug armor for 50k's, emp granades, remote turrets (that you control like in multiplayer) and that you can have 3 sentry's in total to make your camping spot homely. and more too.
on air support more perks and you can have up to 3 perks.
on multiplayer make the ospra airdrop land faster because it dies in 2 stinger shoots you get 18kills and it dies in 5 seconds, and it would be awesome if you some sort of assault that doesn't reset upon death.i'll put another post for survival in a sec
My only problem is that you can only play with 2 people in Survival mode. Zombies had 4. If they would make it 4 people, it might destroy zombies, but until then, I say it will be about even with zombies.

ive played call of duty from the start n got sick of playin online cuz of all the hackers n cheats and the game engine is so pore u can kill people round corners for some reason or is it just me who gets killed round the corner. I started playin zombies n find it so much more enjoyable too play n now thats gone i wont be buyin call of duty again so good luck with servival mode, i just cant see how servival mode is goin too be different than playin online.
i think the best part about game modes like firefight, horde, zombies, etc is when you are in a shit is about to hit the fan situation and you and your friends are screaming frantically and laughing :D

And 4th activision listens with a narrow mind of how they wanna go. They were smart in covering up the the coop of MW2 on opening day, because they knew tons of people were going to hate spec ops. And then after getting criticized heavily for the massive lack of 4 player wave base action, they get it half right in MW3 by crapping out Survival mode, sure a bit better but no 4 player and no zombies.

zombies was created out of creative motivation, survival was created out of competitive motivation and since cod 4 infinity ward has gone down to shit and after playing hours of both zombies and survival overall zombies is more engrossing, survival really is just like a gimmick fun for a bit but nothing you really want to drag out. and by the way dinosaurs!!

Played survival mode actually I like it better than zombies like any other game both got ups and downs zombies after you get the ray gun you can just circle and kill the good part was that you don't got to worry about the zombies that are far away when no zombies around. Mw3 you can get over run after round 20 to easy and the good thing is that you can't see noobs with over powered weapons

Zombies was great fun! Until you start circling the zombies and thundergunning them... Once you knew what you were doing it became easy and monotonous, the only limit to the round you could achieve was time.
Survival is much better IMO, as there (so far, apart from glitches) are no rediculously easy tactics that nulliufy skill, although I still wish they had Survival SpecOps AND Zombies : )

now, I'm not disagreeing with you (why would I? your points are valid) but in my opinion, it's about the zombies themselves. like the CoD WaW map, I like it when there's a sort of rivalry. it's not just survival, they WANT to stop you, they want to bring you down, and that, for me, fires up the gameplay. i just hope Treyarch can keep up that rivalry, where your not just food, you're a true enemy for the zombies.

air support more strikes like ac-130 support like the ac-130 kills enemies for only one round, hovering helicoper, pave low, ospra leaving one random care package, go away when they die only one per team mate. and for the squads mix the up like ( 2 deltas and 1 riot shield) (2 riot shield and 1 rpg) (3 rpg) (1 assault jug and 2 riot shield) (3 assault jugs) (2 assault jugs and 1 riot shield jug) ( 3 riot shield jug"s) and that you have up to 3 squads per team mate, you name the squads.

on survival you need to add a bunch of stuff to destroy zombie like LAMOtyler said make it 4 players. on the weapons add more attachments and camos just for style i guess.
on equipment you should add bouncing betty's, imp's, sam turret's, jug armor for 50k's, emp granades, remote turrets (that you control like in multiplayer) and that you can have 3 sentry's in total to make your camping spot homely. and more too.
on air support more perks and you can have up to 3 perks.
