The sad things is the Arnold series doesn't really ends; it just stops. We never find out if Arnold's parents are still alive, or if Helga and Arnold trully end up together (the later events in the movie make that declaration irrelevant). There was another movie planed as a true ending to the serie, and a possible beginning for the Helga spin-off, but both will probably never get made. It's also a wasted opportunity to have the series' final tell us what we already know,
