  • wow this takes me back thank you for posting this

  • I remember this video :). It was filmed at Broadview and Queen Street area here in Toronto . That donut shop where they get the crullers from had the best junkie coffee ever, a regular coffee was so sweet my teeth hurt from it !!! Sadly it is no more, building condos there on that land :( Did enjoy the video, thanks !!!

  • @306xy is that danko did any one answer you ever?

  • @sickboyfool Have you considered reading the description underneath the video? LOL

  • @BobChaos23 so thats a big yes!!!! kewl

  • Much Music lost it... They used to own.

  • hate when that happens

  • dude is a young danko jones

  • the dude looks like a young danko jones

  • @dabogirl69 dude is a young danko jones

  • Great video. I remember being very impressed with it, even though I this is the first time I've seen it in over 13 years. I'm not even a fan of the band (this is the only song of theirs that I enjoy), but credit must be given where it's due.

The ending of the video reminds me of the fate that befell George Costanza in the "Subway" episode of Seinfeld.

  • Holy Crap!!! The "cruel" girl is actually Floria Sigismondi. She must have directed this video. She's a very well-known artist and has directed many great videos. She also recently wrote and directed "The Runaways". This video's cool factor just spiked!

  • @DesolationAngel101 this video was actually directed by Bruce LaBruce

  • Awesome. Remember when Muchmusic supported local bands and actually played real music? Goddamnit....

  • @revolutionman81 I enjoyed watching much music 24/7....I dont even know what channel its on anymore lol

  • @indoguju its not even worth watching anymore. the big joke is that Much went the same way that MTV did - do they even show music videos anymore?

  • its young danko jones

  • wheres the alanis morsette version where they are in the car

  • i met this band in my city... helped them set up and saw them free of charge. i kept a cookie crumble that ken had that fell out of his mouth.....i don't have it anymore but ...... i miss this band

  • this is the kind of music that canadian music listeners from canada should listen to not the avril, bieber and drake crap that is on today.

  • this is when danko learned the lover call. I'm glad this vid is finally up here. I've been looking for it for a few years now since when danko started getting exposure, I always remember the empty cell video and thought it was the same guy, but never saw the video again to confirm. finally i can sleep at night!

  • this is when danko learned the lover call

  • @mallrat11 haha that's right!

  • Uhhh...

    Not sure about the meaning

But this is probably the best punk/western song ever written.

  • Thanks for uploading this! What were the other 4 Rusty videos you had? I can't seem to find them.

  • I'd cuff the blonde to a chair and fuck he up the ass.

  • ah, damn! Looks like Youtube blocked your other rusty vids....too bad i've been looking for them for months. Either way, you still have alot of other awesome vids on your channel.

  • I posted what is likely to be 4 other vids by rusty (if memory serves), check my Youtube page.

  • @macwaynester that was awesome that you posted Groovy Dead but sucks they took them down!!! Try to upload it again if you can!

  • Oh my god! Thanks so much for posting this!!! Do you have any of Rusty's other vids????

  • DANKO JONES!!

  • This is one of the most viewed videos I've posted and I suspect that it has the same appeal to males as the name of a BC band She Stole My Beer. Women wrapping men around their fingers prior to throwing them to the curb appears to be equally common as the converse theme of men stealing something women believe similarly precious except another word replaces "Beer" and genders are reversed. The video's femme fatale was played by video director Floria Sigismondi. Equal rights rears its ugly head.

  • this is my theme song. Check that, this song and video are my theme song and I'm that guy.

  • YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!! :)

  • SIIIIIICK!!!!!
