btw if you were ever to make a 3rd video for Russia .. ;D you could use songs from the russian band Liube ( ЛЮБЭ) they have a lot of good songs about russia which are more calm and less cheezy (eg. Ot Volgy do Eneseja or Ah, Moskow) ....

As a Russian I gotta say that this is a pretty good video, but I was hoping for a song that is less cheesy and a bit more cynical, like what you have for the Netherlands and Italy. Personally I think "Rodina" by DDT (Родина, ДДТ) would be perfect - it shows both how screwed up modern Russia is and how much we love it anyway.

@SkadiPirate Nah, it's okay, two videos are probably enough. However, if you ever decide to make a collective one for the former USSR, I would strongly recommend DDT's Рожденный в СССР. Its first two verses may look nonsensical, but it is very catchy and the lyrics are quite poignant (at least to us, who were born in the USSR). Alternatively, you could use Gazmanov's Сделан в СССР for something more jingoistic, or Grazhdanskaya Oborona's Все Идет по Плану for something darker and edgier.

@vonPeterhof I actually was hoping for a more cynical song too. You see, one of my grand-grandparents was Russian (oh, by the way, my last name is Pristupin. Is it correct to use Pristupina, since I'm a girl?) and the others had conections to Russia too, being in oft-invaded places ^^; You would suppose I would be pretty bitter about the country, since my granparents were part of the diaspora.
