  • What do you use to hook the Korg up to your laptop?

  • Something like a edirol um1x or something like that. Its basically a USB to Midi cable.

  • 2:35

  • can you post a track list on the side?

  • Shit it's AMAZING!

  • killer fake knob turning

  • omg this is good.

  • you awsome:D Irealy wanna start with DJ things... What is the best to buy?

  • 2 turntables a mixer and some records. Thats what i startet with... you can have that for 300€ The real vinyls can give you a real great feel of how the beat matching and mixing thing works... its very sensual. Good to learn and much fun!

Otherwise... You could also just load a cracked version of ableton or some other DJ software (Ableton is not only djing but also producing) but it will never be as much fun as using real vinyls

  • wow this is amazing man. I have the microkorg hooked up to my ableton as well. i would love to try and make mixes with you and send you some shit to give you ideas. let me know.

    good shit man

  • you are the monster!!! I love your music....

  • what is the mixer?

  • the mixer is a soundcraft notepad

  • @filmakerjamiefilmz So you connected the MicroKorg via Midi to control Ableton, but the sounds came through your mixer right ?

  • your shit rocks brutally!

    whats ya DJ name?

  • sweet! lukn ta get ableton live maself. u find it easy ta use?

  • ableton is a bit weird at first, but its easy once you get use it. its great for djing

  • @filmakerjamiefilmz have you ever used anything like Traktor with it? if so, was it at all useful?

  • that was sick. edmasterson your a goon. but i have hardware so you can be with me...

  • as long as you have hardware I m with you i have no respect for %100 pc work let the korgs free

  • awesome music

  • What drum programs do you use?

  • fruity loops and single shot samples which I sequenced on cubase.

  • Much respect man. I highly suggest you keep it up because this is pretty damn good.

  • damn son... mad respect for the orig content. you must have a good bit of experience to produce all this quality music in a few months, even if it is just 4 tracks. and yea track 4 is a straight banger i wanna hear more of it.

  • track 4 is a belter!

  • Talent!

  • Nice tracks man, good sounds, specially for not knowing what your doing. lol

  • Did you make this music from scratch with the microkorg? If So, how do you make this extremely distorded sounds?. I would like to know because i can't make them like that !

  • All the music you hear is music i've produced over the past few months. All the microkorg is doing is triggering midi data. Some of the synth sounds are in some of the tracks are software and hardware. I mainly bitcrush them or add loads of compression to them, basically most of the time i dunno what i'm doing. If it sounds good, then use it. lol

  • Really nice tracks! Many interesting tecniques. I hear a lot of fast gapping/stuttering on the leads...(e.g. 6:15) how do you do it?

  • The stuttering and stuff was done by doing by pre production, I used Cubase to write the leads and add insanely mad quantizations on the key editor.

  • thanks for the reply! In ableton I produce a quite similar effect by processing lead and bass sound with a gate fx that's sidechained to some rhythmic material (drums, percussions etc...) BTW again...really like your style expecially in the first two tracks

  • this is amazing man..really really good! How do you set up the microkorg as a controller for ableton like that? i have a microkorg and ableton and midi cables? any help :D

  • on ableton it has a midi button. Click on midi and you can assign what ever you want the microkorg to control on ableton. eg: click on ableton's tempo and assign it to one of the microkorg control knobs. lol

  • thanks but i try to assisn it and it says press any key to assign and it doesnt do anything :(

  • That's pretty awesome! Liking a couple of the tunes! Have you released this in good quality anywhere?

  • haha mate love it! Great way to show off the new tunes too, frickin love the first one!

  • this is pretty ill... I wanna hear more... keep it up

  • very nice drop around 1:05
