Just watching the reruns of this show on BBC1 and have to say that this programme was totally overrated and is now very dated. The only highlight is listening to Rodney singing the theme tune. Trust the BBC to depend on a has been programme for Christmas entertainment. Waste of my licence fee money if you ask me.
I really love British humor and understand it wery well, even if i am foreign (not bastard)
So, if i understand your language, literature and history and you, i presume, don't speek any language beside your own, in your opinion, who is ignorant bastard ?
Trigger is hillarious. Roger Lloyd Pack is probably the only actor who could play the role, but I also think that Lewis Osbourne is also funny as Trigger in the prequel Rock and chips, in fact I've just seen him in an episode of the Caroline Quentin sictom 'the life of riley'.
The best comedy ever!! The best ever comedy acting, the best script writing, the best production!! The most perfect TV ever!! Simply TV magic in every sense!! So many classic episodes.
This is the best Trigger moment ever and it's so funny because he obviously too thick to realise that is not the same broom anymore lol
And yes it was me who came up with the reference to the Sugababes because without Keisha or Mutya it doesn't feel like the same band. Apparently Keisha was forced to leave because she was bullying Heidi and Amelle. They should change the name from Sugababes to Trigger's Broom lol
Only fools & horses went on too long when they became millionairs, thats when it should have finished," DAVID JASON "was not even funny as Del at this stage,
TRIGGER was the only Character who remained funny right up to the end.
@Divljina89 You are entited to your opionion, a percentage of the " Character's in the show that were portrayed by these great actors , were just not funny anymore.
@charliegaze I agree that it's a new Sugababes but Keisha and Mutya made the band what it was as Siobhan left early in their career and Heidi has been a part of the group for every major hit of their career such as 'Freak like me, 'Round round', 'Hole in the head', 'Push the button' and 'In the middle', but I supose their record company own the name.
British humour at its best. Roger Lloyd Pack who played Trigger is really a very clever man. He speaks fluent French, German and Italian and achieved A-Levels in English, French and Latin.
i wonder how many things he says but everythin he says is funny how doe's he do it? he must be a cross between an idiot and and genius hmmm i am still lafin now :)
Believe it or not Trigger has actually stumbled upon a deep philosophical issue, Hume's notion of the self. I imagine this clip might engage my year 8 pupils a little more than the great David Hume though!
classic, along with the chandalier and the open bar fall...

Thanks for uploading this. This link was posted in reference to the constant line-up change of Sugababes. Very funny.
matthieus2 2 years ago 15
Yeah, but none of the founding members are in it anymore, so it's a "new" Sugababes.
