as you did at one point in your solution, simply get a green square on the orange side (and an orange square on the green side) so they are in the same position (top left, middle left, middle upper left etc.)
then bring the top square down, then rotate the bottom face CCW or CW, then bring the square (where it's now been moved to) down and rotate the bottom face CW or CCW (opposite of what you did before)
I don't mean to be rude but I don't think you really understand how simple it is to solve the last two centers. You don't need to start by solving a 3x3 center. And after solving those centers you don't need to think about "tredge centers" and "corners" at all.
The intuitive, simple, and obvious way to do it is:
1. get the centers as solve as possible with simple row inserts. (usually gets 3/4 of each of the last two sides the correct color)
Which is easier 7x7 or 6x6. I can solve 3x3 and 5x5 easy but the problem I see myself having with the 6x6 is there is no center. But I'm not sure what to think of any of them, just really wanted to know before I spent my money.
hmm..its weird. can you solve a 4x4? 6x6 and 7x7 are about the same, 7x7 is just a bit more work. 6x6 might be considered harder because of the parity. If you cant solve a 4x4, 7x7 will be easier. I love them both though :)
cool :) i loe memyselfandpi, i challenged him but he hasnt responded yet..lol i got a average of 21 which is better than his pb single so idk if he will respond...
They're so AWESOME! I've already solved the 7x7 once, with some help from youtube. I love the 5x5! So much better than rubik's! The 6x6 is a little clicky, but I don't mind it much. I think I got an older 7x7 because the center caps came unglued and without a little booklet. I super glued them down, but I think the glue leaked into the spring or the screw or something, anyways, it's really smooth, just not on certain sides. They're AWESOME!
If you haven't already, I would love a decent 5x5 tutorial. I know how to solve it, but I'm wicked slow! I want to get better for when I get my V-cubes!
sure :). i can make it this weekend(after christmas). just getting the v-cubes knocked a good 30 secs of my 5x5 times( not only because the 5x5 is so good, but because its so easy after you can solve a 7x7)
I've seen 5 tutorials, none of them helped. this is the best one on youtube. This guy is cool, click thumbs up if you agree or thumbs down if you think hes dumb. I think he's ok

2. just do single square swaps.
as you did at one point in your solution, simply get a green square on the orange side (and an orange square on the green side) so they are in the same position (top left, middle left, middle upper left etc.)
then bring the top square down, then rotate the bottom face CCW or CW, then bring the square (where it's now been moved to) down and rotate the bottom face CW or CCW (opposite of what you did before)
then undo all that.
the result is they are swapped.
