  • Me too.! But i think that scumbag or reptiles might be my favorite! all great songs and jams.

  • I didn't "get" this one on the first couple listens, but now it's probably my favorite - at least for now...

  • this is an amazing song. everytime i listen to another song from this album i love it even more. one of my favorite new bands for sure!

  • Homme, John Paul, and Grohl; Did someone say supergroup?

    This. Song. Is. Awesome.

  • Ok wtf. Everywhere i go on youtube there is always retarded off topic garbage going back and forth: "America sucks" "God is fake" "Whites are dumb"... Just shut the fuck up you annoying pieces of shit. Get a life instead of sitting on your ass in front of a computer yelling about shit that is pointless! On a lighter note, this band kicks ass!

  • Would love an explanation for this song. Is Josh making fun of young punk/metal kids for wearing bullet belts? :)

  • The main reason they released it over in England first is because they played a majority of their material here first. Due to touring Arctic Monkeys as surprise guests, this was probably because of Josh helping them produce Humbug

  • Hey Pin head, 2 out of 3 of those artist are American. Did you think that those Americans are of European ancestry? Are you so limited in your intellectual capacity that you think that it is a matter of superior British Quality.Isn't American bashing somewhat 2003? Just drink a pint and enjoy. Leeds,Glastonbury are stellar venues but so are Red Rocks,Coachella and The Whiskey. So just enjoy...I am sure if someone did a DNA test on

  • @mzteta every white american is from european descent?? or where you being ironic.

  • i fail to see the irony in anything he said, do you have any idea what irony actually is?

  • Yes irony is like coppery or brassy, just with iron as the metal. :)

  • did you actually just say that north americans aren't from europe and then your turning around and calling him stupid ? get your fucking head out of your ass and realise, america is nothing shitty wasteland extension of europe

  • There are no bands, including the Foo Fighters, that rock harder than what I'm listening to. Ya'lls name is gonna cause so much frustration with so many editors. Dem Crooked What??? Tubshires??

  • cant wait til tuesday :D

  • best song on the album!

  • Comment removed

  • Getting it tomorrow hopefully :D

  • Anyone know why an american band is releasing their album in Uk before USA?...

  • Probably because the UK's normal release date for albums is Monday? The US almost always has bands release their albums on Tuesdays here.

  • cuz josh and dave like the Uk better..look at all the awesome recorded shows of qotsa and foo fighters, recorded at fuckin leeds, glastonbury, brixton, all that shit..americas on the back burner..i guess they like european fans more

  • because usa succkks, don't you know it?

  • This one is very Era Vulgaris-like.

  • yea it is

  • Any band with Jonsey's influence and experience will be a brillant success!!! Can't wait untill the 17th!! Rock on!!!!

  • crazyguy70 is a homo

  • THEY ARE EPIC

  • Love Grohl on the drums, always have. I am not a fan of the vocals though. Never been a fan of Queens of the Stone Age though, so maybe that's why? Who knows? Overall, I'm not overly enthused about this project. Mind you, they come to phx, az I'll be first in line for tickets to see Dave on the drums live, but...... I don't know.... maybe the more I listen the more I'll like it?

  • I have to agree dude!! think its a slow grower to some people like my Moustache for Movember charity!! he he

I seem to be more enthused about the Dead weather sound than TCV!! The Dean fertito sound amazes me!!

Need to give it a chance!! I suppose!!

    medicate the nation!

  • grohl is a maniac on the drums, i love it

  • BTW, it's me or this gets Kashmirish by the end? Epic.

  • And it comes out the very same of my birthday! I'm not gonna wait to see if someone wants to give it to me as a present. It will be my own present for me. So grateful for this one.

  • this is amazing.

  • This song completely blew me the fuck away! This is the best album of the year! Hands down! No one can touch these guys!

  • if Tom Morello joined this...it would be a legendary

  • totally agree!

  • what has he to do with anything ?

  • I wanna learn to play this whole damn album!

  • Definitely getting this one when it comes out!

  • Best song on the album imo, fucking love it.

  • not sure how this would would work, but i think adding Jack White as a guitarist would be freaking awesome.. i think his style would suit this great stuff.

But that wont happen, because Jack White has waaaayyy too many side projects, and is a bit of a control freak lol

  • That, and these guys are 40x more talented than Jack White.

  • LOL excellent.. i guess your right..

    screw what i said lol.

  • wuunderbar................ can only recormed swomps

  • probably one of the best tracks on the album

  • i think the riff in this song is so tasty :-) lol

  • great album, great song, I think this is my favorite, and I dont thik this sounds like foo

  • que va sango no seas gay JAJAJJA

  • que va gonorrea jaja

  • This song is amazing, wait no scratch that. This BAND is amazing.

  • these dudes rock !

  • love the guitar at 3:36 :P

  • Love the drumming at 3 minutes. Great band. Such a great combo of talent.

  • personally its my least favorite from the album, and not very foo fighter like, maybe a320 but not really

  • None of the album is very Foo Fighters-esque. What are you getting at?

  • Oh sorry I just realised what this was in response to. My apologies

  • Agreed. Josh Homme is a great guitarist, and besides -- I don't always wanted to have my face melted off.

  • This has to be my favorite song from the album.

  • Ummm, no....this doesn't sound like Foo at all actually....

  • Finally, a track from TCV that has a Foo Fighters feel. They normally sound like Queens of the Stone Age songs, Zeppelin songs, or a combination of the two.

  • Ill say it again, this band needs a face melting guitarist like Alex Lifeson, Slash, Jimmy Page, etc.

  • I'd say that as a guitarist, Josh Homme can keep up with the rest of the band. Sure, he's no Jimmy Page, but he's close enough for that band to get away with it

  • Slash??? Nahhhhh! Too melodic, his Velvet Revolver stuff would not go well with this.

  • These guys have gone back in time, and come up with the freshest groove in years.

  • good god. dave grohl and john paul jones make one incredible rhythm section

  • i would like to hear mark lanegan sing this!!

  • You're my new best friend. Mark Lanegan was the best. Dust was one of the most underrated albums of the 90's.

  • Blown away and not just by the escort who's in between my legs!

  • Pretty cool, I guess. I hope I can make an unfavorable comparison without receiving a faceful of thumbs-downs:

The Zep-ish eastern keys in this song are pretty cool, but they are only noticeable for about a third of the song, and during that time they're too far in the background. The keys IMO make the coolest riff in the song, and they're washed out in guitars and (admittedly) amazing drums.

Couldn't JPJ convince Josh to make the keys more dominant?

Anyway, a minor gripe. Great album.

  • this songz great but dead end friends and elephants are awesome

  • @DionH62 dead end 4 me 2

  • y does the electric not come out when i play this on my iphone :(

  • Wow this album is sick. Bought it today :)

Hope I'm going to see them soon!

  • i think the album is a grower nothing awesome so far but definate potential

  • It is a grower for sure. I've been listening to it for 3 days straight, unsure at first, but now it's coming full circle. Its just a lot to wrap your head around at first. Listen to it with headphones cranked up full volume.

  • @Avon021 I completely agree. Except one thing. Fuck the headphones and crank your stereo full blast!

  • I agree as well and this does not come as a surprise. Many of the projects that any of these musicians have been involved in were (and still are) so revolutionary that nobody understands at first. That is why it takes a few listens to truly appreciate it. Thus is art.

  • Deserve the Future = DTF = I'm down DTF this album.

  • New Fang is one my fav so save it... Everybody has a different taste.

My ultimate fav is Gunman at the moment

  • Best song on the album! I can relate so well to the lyrics. A fucking masterpeice!

  • okay, i've been doing some thinking...This is the best song of the album. Interludes with ludes and Warsaw and delicious, but this one has it all!

  • i'd say Josh sounds a bit like David Bowie in here

  • ???

  • this just drips with serious awesome...

  • great, solid but not mindblowing. just what i come to expect from three talented guys having fun in a studio

  • love it! This one's very qotsa

  • Instrumental from about 3minute mark - 4.12 = super fucking awesome

  • Favourite song on the album.

  • Great Song, Great Message !!!

  • Favorite song on the album. Damn, how can any other band hope to compete with the sheer awesomeness of TCV?

  • nice guitar work throughout the album...and really something different!! (not only for FF, i talk about new rock releases....)

  • the solo at 1:20 is freegin awesome

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like Jack Bruce at times... of course it is not Lanegan.

  • God this is so disgustingly sexy...

  • wow that's awesome!

  • its not mark lanegan u stupid cunts.... have u never heard josh sing with a lower voice

  • lol

  • @ImieKhan obviously. i think everyone is just commenting it sounds like him...........

  • lol

  • def josh, not gravely enough to be mark

  • its obviously josh

  • I don't think it's Mark Lanegan, I think that's just Josh using a throatier voice. But it does sound like him.

  • the doors

  • sounds a lot like mark lanegan ^^

  • It's Mark Lanegan!

  • one of my fav songs. cool guitar riff

  • the rest of the album is beastly (but in a good way) and this is beautiful, really stands out.

  • ellos llevan toda una vida como compositores y super estrellas.

    show me you work!!!

    tu que has hecho????

  • OMG! @ 4:20...

    The irony...

  • Well they seem to be all the same.

  • "fire away..."

  • "I'm fooling myself, fooling myself into believing you... and all these fictionary tales you're telling yourself."

  • They remind me of when i liked Queens of the Stoneage

  • This might be my favorite... but Scumbag Blues and Mind Eraser are very close!

  • One of my favorites. Along with Warsaw.

  • Oh. Let's totally stop comparing two completely different artists

  • Dont think Stratdoc really knows what he's talking about. Cant you just appreciate this music?

  • Shit, this is amazing.

  • Wow something I like came out...

  • The best track for vocals!

  • dpwurzer agree'd!

  • best song on the album.

  • I think my penis just exploded.

  • Really digging this track.

  • Zep with a better vocalist and some harmony..Josh is hillarious as always!! Is it the pot??

  • a better vocalist ? Homme is great , but ..please..

  • Agreed. Plant can go fuck himself.

  • i totally agree man. but some diehard fans prob won't..

  • What is this compare? shut up

you are 2009, not 1970, you have no ideia the revolution and style of zep, including Robert Plant, hear Stairway to Heaven, his lyrics...

this is not to compare, are just different things

  • sacred Zep ? it sounds to me like you are on J hommes nuts , so what s the difference ? Let me know when Kyuss or QSA reaches the 300 million albums sold mark .Great talent certainly , but ..

  • Hey Tecumeseh your channel rocks! "So brothers we all belong to one family; we are all children of the Great Spirit; we walk in the same path; slake our thirst at the same spring; and now affairs of the greatest concern lead us to smoke the pipe around the same council fire!"

So let us then rock together!

  • let's ..

  • @stratdoc

thats a very funny post. I almost took you serious for a while

  • get a grip on yerself . Even Homme thinks that is ridiculous

  • never thought I'd say it, but I almost wish there were one or two more tracks on the album that were mellow like this.

This song stands out from the rest.

Still, I give the album 10/10. Perfect.

  • the introduction, with the big snare hits actually reminded me a lot of Springsteen, of all musicians

  • really diggin this track

  • gives me instant chills:D

  • This song is ridiculous. i mean holy shit.

  • Josh sounds a bit like Mark Lanegan on this track

  • the songs sound kinda like qotsa, foo fighters, nirvana, and led zeppelin.

    anyone hear tha similarity?

  • for sure man.

  • not hearing Nirvana, but QOTSA mainly.

  • lulz

the drums are quite like the nirvana ones dont you think

  • Of course you're going to hear the similarity.. they are each bringing a part of their past bands and their individual talent into this amazing super group! duh.

  • @cteixeirax i wonder why..... o wait, maybe its because everyone in this band are from those bands. naaah that just sounds rediculous.

  • Wooosh

  • SATIRE

  • sounds a bit like 'colour'-era Foos

  • first song where i can hear a bit of the foo's. but still...

  • them crooked vultures is the best super-group Ive ever heard theyre even better than Cream I think

  • Nice!

  • Not sure why I'm gunna say this, but it reminds me of Incubus 'a crow left of the murder' album, anyone hear that similarity?

  • @addwalker the guitar at the beginning has the same tone that incubus uses... so i guess i can see a resemblance.

  • agreed, big incubus fan and it reminds me of an einziger riff

  • hmm? maybe but the guitar is much different sounding in tcr

  • Love it, siked for a vinyl release

  • omg they just made my day by uploading this totally awesome songs :)...very happy right now :D

  • This is the one!!! What is a Bandolier by the way?

  • they're those belt things that hold bullets i think :P

  • it all sounds like Qotsa/ masters of reality amd Cream

  • Sounds like that one Iggy song "Passenger" mixed w/ Qotsa! anyone??

  • Yeah i noticed that when i first heard this live.

Asked a few people and they all thought so to :)

  • Awesome!!!!!

  • what a song...

  • !!!!!!!

    DAVE GROHL !!!!!!!

    Nirvana Forever!

  • This doesn't sound like nirvana at all...

  • I had no in view of what It is the Nirvana. I had in view of what Grol the great person!

  • Every song is incredible but this is one of my faves.

  • one of my fave songs on the album!!

  • very Interpol but i <3 it! i <3 interpol too hehe. this cd rocks! cant wait!!!

  • any Bowie on the vocals, anyone?

  • Mark Lanegan

  • The album is like a rock and roll battle dream.

  • totally!!!!!

  • Fantastic song. I'm loving the entrance at 4:20

  • Interpol is fairy floss and TCV is hard whisky double shot gasoline bar room strippers
