What kind of WSHP do you guys use down there? Ever come across Enerzones or Whalens?

@mazzmari
I never heard of those brands.
We have Trane in one building and McQuay in the other.
The McQuays are more reliable. Other than that, they are similar in size, where the compressor panels are, etc.

wow the startup noise is so cool! what kind of building are these things on? I've seen evapco coolers before on top of an ice cream factory in my city.

Those three are for a three story building with Water Source Heat Pumps.
Also check out this older video with a cool start up running on a VFD...

What is the blade diameter?
ytmachx 1 year ago
@ytmachx Hmm, I haven't measured but I'd say just over 6 feet probably.
I think I have a video on my channel from a job a few years ago. Blades were 8 to 10 feet or so. That was a job "in the field".
These are where I work now "in house".
So I pretty much just take care of all this stuff at these properties now.
Normal weekly checks, etc. Which is what this was when I decided to replace the belts.
... I just looked. And I guess I don't have the video of the one I'm talking about.
I wonder what I did with it??? It was a cool tower. A big tower and instead of multiple fans it had one BIG fan in each tower.
