  • Where can I find your book? really impressed by your playing and also enjoy solo playing.

  • @SanityTheorist5 Go to basslinepublishing-dot-com! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the nice comments.

  • enjoyed! tho i can't even play tapping but i really wanna do this!

  • I know this might be a hassle for you. But do you think you could list off a couple songs you play in this. Im not a jazz genius Im just getting into it, but i heard a lottttt of stuff that i really liked, mainly from 2:00 and on i really enjoyed that part, not to undermine the earlier stuff.

  • @R0b1zzle137 It's no hassle at all. This is a medley of 4 pieces: 'My Funny Valentine', 'Serenade to a Cuckoo', 'Take the A Train' and 'St Thomas'. Glad you like it!

  • I hear some Jethro Tull around the 2:50 mark. This rules

  • take the a train and st tomas.... niiiice!!

  • Amazing playing stuart.Your GB sounds great too.Bernie is building me a rumour at the moment.Up until now the most expensive bass ive owned cost 350 quid new so it should be something special when i get it

  • Great playing & arrangement Stuart! For solo bass performance on You Tube, I put this on top ten along side of Gustavo Dal Farra. I've been wanting to purchase your book on bassline publishing, but it's been out of stock for the last few months. Is there any chance that maybe you can have it available for digital download perhaps? Maybe have individual songs for sale? I think that would help spread the word of your amazing talent. cheers.

  • That's fucking AWESOME mate!

  • you know what stuart,- I think you're ready to move on to guitar now :)

  • This sounds like the Splatterhouse theme on the Turbo-Grafx 16, awesome job!

  • duuuuuuuuuude you just blow my mind

    this is great man

  • I dunno why, but that bass reminds me of an Alembic

  • Probably because of the stripe down the middle, very Alembic ;)

  • wow

  • What bass are you using my good man? excellent job

  • Could you've not just looked through the comments? Its been said before. GB Rumour Bass.

  • Very nice playing

    is that a pedulla bass?

very awesome playing again ... lol greetings from mexico

  • Hola! me parece que es un GB Rumour Bass

  • awesome!!! great playing stu! are there any tabs to this piece? because on your simpsonsvideo s.o. commented that he had them.. but i couldn'T find the so far.

  • Yes, there are complete tabs and notation, with performance notes at my Bassline Publishing website. You'll need to log in, go to the Coming Soon section, go to the Solo Arrangements Book page and you'll find them there in the bonus features. Enjoy!

  • I've got a question about the bass line at 3:03, what kind of walking bass line is that? Sorry if there isn't really a definition for what it is, but I've heard those a few times being tapped like that and it always intrigues me to where I try to play it, only to fail badly when I don't really know where to start.

  • Good playing and very nice tone. I like it!

  • if you look away from the video it sounds like it's coming from alot more than just one bass, amazing

  • as the video goes on you keep on getting better and better! amazing skill and talent 5* and favourited

  • this is the first time ive heard my funny valentine on bass i like it

  • Mark Emperor!

  • What type of bass is that?

  • I think it is a GB Rumour Bass.

  • It is indeed!

  • This is brilliant and inspiring!

  • watching videos like this really puts me in my place when I get too cocky about my own bass playing haha!

  • You are quite right...this gent makes a symphony of four strings

  • Great playing!!!!

  • Jaw hitting the floor, absolutely spectacular if there is a better bassist at what this guy does comprehensively i will eat my hat.

All styles all genres without question a hugely globaly unrecognised musician.

Along with King,Clarke,Miller and the like this guy's name should be on everyone's lips.

  • Nice one stuart

  • That was a great show!

  • this is brill

cant wait for the book to come out so i can play it all :)

  • fantastic!

  • Wow, those were all very cool.

Now I'm off to "borrow" all of your ideas.

  • Amazing, good sounds :) from 1:10...mmmmmmm :)

Hope to see some more videos from you!

  • Great stuff!!
