Wow! My jaw is on the floor! No offense at all to Ms. Houston, but honestly speaking (typing rather, lol), this woman's live performance is better than any live performance I have heard of Ms. Houston singing this song. I don't like how Whitney does the often short breath notes when she sings live. Sometimes, I just want to hear a live version that sounds close to the studio version or better!

It's even better in person! I have a recording of her singing a song she didn't even know the words to and killed it LOL... A Celine Deon song she sang standing at my computer while I pointed at the words for her hahahaha. I should post that too but of course not knowing the words there are some errors...

Sometimes, not knowing words is irrelevant when the soul of the voice is there! Sarah Vaughan rarely remembered words to her own songs when she sang live, but the music and the voice was more important to her.

Wow. Now why doesn't she have a recording contract. You know why b/c it is no longer about being able to sing. They look at her and say you are not drop dead gorgeous so we cannot market you when in fact it should all be about the music and not how you look. So now here in 2011 we are stuck with artist who look good but can't sing a lick and you wonder why music today suck. We killed the talent pool 15 years ago when we got away from the model of you need to be able to sing to be a singer.
