etho... when there is netherrack, the lighting is a reddish color that isnt dark enough to destroy the nether wart. Since nether brick blocks the red light and allows the nether to be darker that is why the wart was breaking when you were in the fortress

In the Nether, this rule doesn't apply unless the Nether Wart is planted below a natural vein of glowstone or lava source block (this is probably a bug). - So it turns out it only uproots depending on light in the Overworld. Not the Nether.

Etho: I'd be curious to see how a flower behaves on that one square where the netherwort breaks. Netherwort inherits from Flower and doesn't seem to have any special provisions for breaking. My guess is that the whole Nether world is set up to act as though it has an unobstructed view of the sky, regardless of blocks above it, and that some bug during generation has caused that not to apply to this one block.

I've heard a random rumor, that warts grow better from its 1st stage > 2nd stage with a certain light level and then from its 2nd stage > 3rd stage at another different light level. Again I know I heard this somewhere from some other person's netherwart farm video but I can't really think of a way to confirm it true or not. If this is the case though, you could have a controlled netherwart next to a BUD switch that is connected to a block-swapper to change light levels. Food for thought.

Ethos I tried something in my world and found out that a 3x3 does not uproot when there is no light.However, when i tried on 5x5 soul sand with no light,they uproot if u don't believe go try it yourself its true unless your minecraft have problem. Hope That It Helps You

OK so etho I have a challenge for you. I would like to see you make a gold farm using zombie pigmen. I'm not a huge fan of nether episodes but I really would like to see one built. I tried making one and it only works okay (it looks like and inverted pyrimed with spawning platforms and pistons hooked to pressure plates to push them farther down into my collection area.) I do not generally ask for upvotes but if anyone else would like to see this done could like this comment so he can see?
