@JIMBO95 not everyone got an mpc with a manual. they got discontinued in 2000, so everyone thats gotten one since has got a used one, im sure alot of fucking manuals have been lost in the process. mine was =/
@JIMBO95 i did that, the closest one was for the XL, they're really similar, but they probably have different names for a reason :P
the best i found wasnt in a video or a manuel, i found a dude on youtube that has one, and he can actually answer questions, as opposed to stating answers to questions im expected to ask, like the manual. hell, the dude sent me one private message and now i know how to chop,

In your TRIM screen:
Change the END to suit your needs for your first chop (make a note of the value)
press znEDIT (F3) then EDIT (F5), make sure it says 'ZONE->NEW SAMPLE', name your new sample, press DO IT
Your first chop is now a new sample with the name you chose.
Read the END value you wrote down earlier and use that as the START for the second chop.
Values for chops are changed in the main TRIM screen, actual chopping in the znEDIT/EDIT screen.
Hope this helps you, enjoy your MPC!

Okay I completely forgot about this:
Values for chops are changed in the main TRIM screen -AND- in the znEDIT screen, if you only change the TRIM values, your new sample will be empty.
Good luck.
