Well done awesome vid.
But I know I'm not as experienced as you..
But I'm 16 and I was skiing down the italian side of mont blanc with a advanced ski school group just last week, and it only took us half an hour to ski down the italian side.
Maybe the french side is way different?

I'll bet dollars to donuts you took the lift & skied the Vallee Blanche from the Italian side. If so, your route did descend the Mont Blanc Massif, but not the peak itself, like this guy did.
The peak involves a lot more hiking over technical terrain. Then you ski off the French side. The Italian side of the peak is much more broken, cliffy & steep. I'm not sure anyone has ever skied from the peak down the Italian side--it would be really hard to do.

yep, agree with faerthen. You can't ski down from the peak on the Italian side in 30mn and you would have first to climb up there. No ski lift...

can you do it in winter and do you need any specialist equipment apart from crampons? I really fancy doing it.

Not that I've climbed it, but I seriously doubt their would be any advantage to doing in winter, it would just be fucking cold AFAIK
